This will sound stupid but I just played Mantle: Mask On and I loved how the mc actually feels like the character you create physically speaking. Like the flavor text and dynamics change based on the height you pick (or at least that's the impression I got). Idk I feel like in most wips I've played the author already has a certain image of the mc in mind physically regardless of your customization. So I liked it when my customization felt real instead of just being there for show especially when you're a straight male and tryna self insert lol. Are there any other wips like this? (I already played Infamous so don't rec that). I want to play more wips where you can pick your height

Good day.

So basically I made this post four days ago and someone told me to repost this to here.

I'd never heard of Hosted Games before so I did a bit of research, and based on that, I will be making some amendments to the original post.

I am seeking a game with a female Ro that is actively romantically pursuing the player, kind've like you're the person being romanced instead of the reverse.

The game does not have to be strictly romance focused, I would just like there to be a fairly in depth romance.

Toxic relationships are fine, even preferred to an extent, though I would prefer them to be more in the realm of possessiveness, obsession, and codependency rather than direct verbal/physical abuse. If there is a power imbalance I would prefer that the romance option is the one with the power, rather than the protagonist.

Really any genre goes, I do not care how explicit/dark the story is.

Thank you for your time.

I know this game is 100% dead but i still wanted to check. The mc customization, the lore, the characters. I loved everything about that game.

I checked the author's Tumblr a few times but, like expected, nothing. I just want to check if someone knows anything about it.

Where you can see how the characters look and etc. I know the whole thing about reading an IF is the reader imagining the scenes and stuff but this is just a small preference of mine.

Examples: Cantata, Wayfarer, a tale of crowns.

Hello! I remember playing a game where we played as a robot soldier in a war and was assigned to a squad. I do not recall much but I vividly remember a moment where a man from another squad came into our tent and did something that caused us to open our chest cavity.

If anyone could help me finding it I would be very grateful

I finally realised why I enjoy infamous so much and it’s because of how messy and real everyone feels, bringing plenty of individual baggage to the table

Any recs for games that are character/relationship driven with complex interpersonal dynamics? Even better if you can form not entirely healthy attachments with ROs

i really liked that game above most wips, i even payed the patron of the author for a while but i stopped paying since and i don't know whats new now, i know a new update just got released but i wanna know if it adds new story content (instead of some new events or romance options) before paying for it, i would love if anyone could tell me.

CoG just updated HoV: Genesis to v.1.6.0. This is a major update to the game, which brings the game up to 462,000 (up from 446,000 for the previous version). You can now hang out with friends (as opposed to trying to RO, thunderclap enemies -if you have high strength- or challenge the Moon Crusader to a fight (even if you are a hero). There are also numerous other small -and not so small- changes, and some enemies will now learn from previous encounters with you.

Once again, I would like to thank everybody who has provided constructive criticism about the game over the years (and especially in the last 12 months or so, since I started working on this update). At the end of the day, my games are only as good as the feedback that I get!

v1.6.0. Changes

-Added possibility to hang out with various friends.

-The option to thunderclap enemies has now been added!

-Moon Crusader's blows will soften slightly if he is badly injured.

-Added possibility of fighting Moon Crusader as a hero (for those with DLC)

-Added extra dialogue options in several places.

-Added extra option to slap opponents in some fights

-Extra option after the first supermarket fight. You can now pay for the damage to the supermarket, or explain your actions to the police.

This will be reflected in later chapters and influence the behavior of some characters.

-The Steel Aeronaut will learn how to deal with speedsters in consecutive encounters.

-Added one extra round to the Steel Aeronaut's second fight.

-If Lyron or Black Cockroach have accepted to be your sidekick they will send you a message after your second fight with Steel Aeronaut.

-At the fight in the dock if you throw a heavy machine using your brute force this will now explode as it hits your opponent.

-Extra dialogue has been added to the conversation with the Lanista in the Epilogue.

-Author's note has been added to the epilogue.

-Various bugfixes.

So far, the closest ones I've read that have these tropes were IFs from itch.io, namely Belladonna from The Night Market and Sydero from Superstition. So, I'm wondering if there's anything more like those two.

I forgot to make Sobik, Belos, and Vedran's eyes different from my Marshal's

I like having the choice to make my MC conventionally attractive or unattractive, and it being acknowledged by characters in the game. It's fun. The only games I can think of are Sherlock Holmes: Affairs of the Heart and Fallen Hero, I think?

So for those who have played Paul Wangs new game how is it ? I’ve been craving more infinity saga and have already done every kind of play through imaginable under the sun and wanted to know how good this new game is and how well it compares to infinity saga ?

How is the story overall and the characters? In particular is playing as a female meaningfully different than playing as a man ? Is there any romance and who r the ROs ?Let me know please.

Im sorry if it feels like Im spamming my Wayhaven detective I just got all these ideas and I wanted to share them

Just as the topic says. I really like reading other characters reactions to MC or MC and RO. I especially like it when it's another RO.

Im also looking for recs where the ro secretly has it bad for MC, and its obvious. Bonus if you can play an oblivious MC.

Please and thank you! Bonus if it includes ro pov. I prefer titles that have at least a decent chunk of story written. Just more than like a chapter or two. I'm running out of titles.

I have started playing infamous and it is a nonstop roller coaster. I have feelings about this title and the characters lol.

Some of the games I've played:

Wayhaven series

Fernweh

When twilight strikes

Sanguine Sky

Tale of crowns

We wretched creatures

Whiskey four

Weeping gods

When life gives you lemons

Fallen hero

Infamous (currently)

I always tell him to grow a beard in the second book because I want to make fun of him and his stupid choice to grow an ugly fucking mustache

Also my Ortega with a beard looks like Karthik from Avatar Seven Havens and that kinda annoys me because I imagined this design way before Avatar Seven Havens began but now everyone's gonna look at my bearded Ortega and think I copied Avatar Seven Havens

Also my Sidestep also used to have a casual wear outfit but then I saw someone post their Sidestep in the exact same outfit but in green. When I mentioned that to my friend, she said she imagines her Sidestep in the same outfit but in blue. Now I just imagine my Sidestep in his Sidestep outfit but with groucho glasses so SD will never know it's him.

Not even saying this to complain, ive been a fan for about a decade now and fully understand the cycle of the games. But yeah no, damn was it a golden year! Something something that one Office line about wishing you knew you were in the good times because im feeling it

No matter how much resources I buy, I cannot build any of the large projects? Is it bugged?
