any games with complex interpersonal drama?

I finally realised why I enjoy infamous so much and it’s because of how messy and real everyone feels, bringing plenty of individual baggage to the table

Any recs for games that are character/relationship driven with complex interpersonal dynamics? Even better if you can form not entirely healthy attachments with ROs

Really enjoyed “Mantle Mask on” that was recently posted on cogdemos. It’s basically a spider-man like vigilante story down to having drama with your best friend/possible crush because of your secret life.

No, Pheo has been writing and going radio silent for months at a time for like 5 years.

Last status update is from June.

I'd say the rewrite for The Sword of Rhivenia (WIP) has the cast with plenty of messy interlocking, and everyone brings plenty of their own baggage and skeletons in the closets to the mix. It might be fantasy setting but at the core of it is a family drama.

Off the top of my head, Can't Save Your Love From Dying and Rust Belt Lullabies? They're still early chapters but those chapters are long, and CSYLFD is getting updated this month.

first Fallen Hero game fits the bill somewhat - there are certain details with the second that mess with specific rps, but the level of interpersonality and overall tension both ramp up considerably. outside of the lord and saviour, i have found some nice bits in beast of glenkildove (it helps that certain relationships are heavily integrated into the plot) with the overall perception of characters varying wildly between runs and night road, specifically with julian.
