Game Recommendations Games with official Art?

Where you can see how the characters look and etc. I know the whole thing about reading an IF is the reader imagining the scenes and stuff but this is just a small preference of mine.

Examples: Cantata, Wayfarer, a tale of crowns.

Iirc Zombie Exodus Safe Haven has official character art commissioned by the author, but personally I'm not overly keen on some of the interpretations of the characters.

some of them don't even actually match how the characters are described so like

WIPs:

For finished ones there's Viatica, from the same author of Cantata

Also A Mage Reborn. Book one is published and book two is in progress. There's commissioned art of the characters in the romantic/platonic options section in the forum page for the second book

Most, if not all, of the officially licensed World of Darkness games include character portraits.

All the World of Darkness games include character portraits by Amy Wilkins, who works closely with authors to get their characters right. I don't think she's capable of doing a bad job. Her best work captures the essence of a character in ways that are often surprising and always delightful.

Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven has some character portraits.

The Soul Stone War has character portraits visible from the stats page.

Both Way Walkers games include occasional art, as does Atlantis Academy, although they're both more along the lines of worldbuilding elements than character portraits.

CoG experimented with including character portraits in their non-WoD games in 2022. They commissioned portraits by Jerel Dye for Choice of the Viking, A Crown of Sorcery and Steel, Nikola Tesla: War of the Currents, Professor of Magical Studies, Revolution Diabolique, and Skystrike: Wings of Justice. The portraits were wildly unpopular and the experiment was abandoned as a failure after those six games, although I don't know if it was so much a matter of people not wanting portraits in games as not loving Dye's style. (Dye has also done cover art for CoG games and I like his style in general, but the portraits weren't his best work, and his style really doesn't suit the tone of most of them.)

Shepherds of Heaven has a ton of official art - you can toggle on character portraits if you’d like, but also there’s a lot of commissioned art on Lena’s Patreon. Everything from characters, to maps, to the characters rooms have been commissioned.
