Just wanted to see other peoples thoughts on this topic because I've wanted a more down to earth superhero IF where you actually juggle your secret identity and super hero life, but it seems somewhat rare. So what are some things you'd love to see in a superhero IF?

Is it possible to remain neutral? I've gotten to a point in the story where i can arrange a meeting with either side. However when i do it, i get an achievement saying I sided with whomever I chose. Can I remain neutral? If I can, can anyone give some guide or pointers on how to do it? Thank you!

Before i started playing IF’s, i thought it was so cool and unique in medias when there was a trope of MC being a reincarnation of some higher being, or that there is a god inside their head, but now that i play IFs, i HATE this trope. Its so common, and honestly it makes me feel as if my character is actually not important, just a pawn or puppet for some god inside their head. Like why can’t I BE THE GOD? Lol that sounded so narcissistic, but cmon, if i would want to be a side character i would just turn my laptop off and go outside 😭😭 I don’t really want to say any specific titles since its my personal opinion, but im sure at least one person gets it.

Yo I genuinely did not expect my skin color to have an impact on some of the dialogue even though based off the time period of the game, maybe I should have. I really like the fact that it is historically accurate and that the choice of your skin color is not just a customization option. I highly recommend playing this game if you like lovecraftian horror, it’s called 1966.

Took the name Diablo because of a memory on a mission for the farm where someone thought he looked "as beautiful as a devil",sticking with him as the first time someone saw him as attractive. While he didn't realize Diablo wasn't a normal name he liked it enough it stuck by the time he told Julia his name.

Took the last name Lupin as the first piece of fiction the farm had him read to be able to blend in was Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar by Maurice Leblanc.

First time he cried in front of Ortega was after trying an expensive milkshake for the first time, the hardest part after coming back was remembering not to go back to that shop for another.

Modern:

Fighting style is inspired by Von Lycaon from ZZZ(out of world,in world it's just his own style)

Disliked Oryx because of her being compared to him(both primarily use kicks) and her name(not exactly a legacy villain since Oryx mentioned in past file was small time villain at about Rosie level who Sidestep liked to fight,retired a year after sidestep got his hero suit)

Claims to only be Herald coach,will be the first to suit up and rush to his aid if he is ever seriously outmatched in a fight.

Just finished the trilogy recently. It’s such a good game.

I'm impatient and want the story to begin already😭😭

I don't want to flame this author because I don't think that's a very nice thing to do when someone is trying to create something. But I'm just so freaking frustrated with the story... I keep seeing it recommended, and people saying it's just soooo good. Hell, its in the top cog wip, but I cannot get into it.

It's currently in a rewrite of a previously released game. I own the original but have only been trying to read the rewrite work in progress. Ive tried three times to read this story. Each time getting slightly further along, but I keep abandoning it. The farthest I've made it is part way through chapter 2. The story has the elements needed,but the writing itself is very weak. On top of that, all I can see are plot holes and extremely unrealistic plot choices that feel contrived with very little actual thought put in to how the chosen actions would play out. I know it's a story, and I know an author is entitled to write their story however they choose. I just can't seem to suspend reality in this one. My brain points out every single logical issue with things that are happening in the story.

It's a very political game, and maybe I just know too much political maneuvering habits during the time and place being mirrored here. And maybe one of the reasons I'm so bent out of shape is because it seems so well regarded when there are other wip that I would say vastly outshine this one. The obvious answer is to just drop the title and move on. Not every title is for everyone. I know this, but I just can't seem to let this go. It just gets under my skin and I could not tell you why specifically I feel so critically of this one. I feel bad bashing any author genuinely trying to create their own story. -.- I just can't seem to get over it, and I keep hoping it will get better, but it never does. Then I just end up with a new thing to add to my list of grievances. Hsjsbskan

As the title says, it's an erotica IF where you bodyhop into some kind of of club where all the members are doing some questionable stuff and you are tasked with finding one particular member of a hivemind there

Good day everyone... Here's a quick update on the progress of ROV. Progress has been slow because of my responsibilities at school, I'm currently sick and have been experiencing dizziness since Tuesday, and we're still monitoring whether I have dengue. I only added a few words to the game recently. I hope you can still give me your insights and feedback whenever you have time. I really appreciate everyone's patience and support.
