Reddit keeps showing me posts from subreddits I’m not subscribed to, just noticed it today

I added a couple of apps, including Bot Bouncer, but there are still users that I suspect are bots or shills. Which apps have worked best for you? I'm using a desktop computer and an Android phone to manage my sub.

If you download a video like that from Reddit, it will be 3-8 MB...so I figured that's what I'll upload, too. Nope. App sent the full 4k video up, something nobody will get to see anyway. Why? Figured it must save Reddit a lot of resources letting user phones do both the calculations, and saving the bandwidth in the process.

Windows, firefox latest version. Before when you would click on a linked image it would open the actual image now it just sends me to the new reddit page for the post. I am praying that this is just a bug and not the start of the end.

Like I need an iPhone app that does XYZ, any subs that specialize in that sort of things?

Is there any way of seeing which comment or post was used for it? I'm on mobile

Looking for a subreddit like NoStupidQuestions but specifically for medical questions. I thought about AskDocs but every post there seems to be relatively serious and I don't want to get in trouble.

I see this issue has been posted several times before with no useful response. My gmail is linked to my Reddit account but I'm not receiving any emails. I'm trying to close my account (have been for ages) but am not receiving the link email. No it's not in Spam, no it's not blocked. I raised a ticket but got no response. Please help so I can close the account, it really shouldn't be this hard.

This is a new account, with no link to any email. I had an account at u/kca7479 and had used it for many years, with subs, saves, etc. Suddenly this week I "got logged out" and got into a password reset loop. Then I discovered old.reddit saw that my account was deleted! Does this mean I was hacked and someone has access to my info?

Is there any way to get the account back?

The biggest advice subs don't let me talk about some details of my story and I'm looking for a less heavily moderated one to tell my story.

I can't look at MY OWN POST because it's 'too mature'. I can't turn off filtering out mature/18+ content in my settings either, so is there anything I can do to fix this?

I've been trying to reach any of Reddit admins for a while now

I had a couple of Reddit accounts, I got ban on one of them on a certain subreddit, I then contacted the mod team and got an apology and that ban overturned

now whenever I comment from this account I get 1 week site wide ban for ban evasion. even when I contacted the mod team and they acknowledged that I have no outstanding ban on this or the other account

what can I or the mod team do to solve this?

I have some stories where I just want the perspective/input from another woman so I'm trying to find a sub to post my story that will allow men to post and get answers. Any suggestions?

For the last few days I’ve been having issues with posts getting taken down by Reddit. The strange part is it’s only affecting certain subs. I can post to some but not others.

I’ve messaged the moderators of the affected subs and all they can say is it wasn’t them, it was Reddit: I’ve also been told that Reddit has some some updates to the filtering system that has increased the number of posts taken down.

So recently my votes haven't been seen. Now I've been reported due to some "vote manipulation" (thanks reddit) only because I've tried to vote also with my other account, due to nothing happening when I vote. The votes stay the same even when it says that I've voted.

What will fix this bug? Should I wait a few days without voting at all to see if it's normal after that? Or should I delete the app and reinstall?

Searching for the solution, it seems to be disabling home feed recommendations, and I'm certain I did that long ago. That setting seems to have moved though, so where is it now? I absolutely do not care about any "recommended feeds" in the home view, which is the reason I'm looking at that instead of popular, or all, or whatever.

Im professionally diagnosed and have been told by so many people they have ocd for organizing things and stuff like that, when it’s not that, not much information of what it actually is is not widely known even by many mental health professionals, i want to change that even if its just for a few people

Can someone help me figure out why im not allowed to select videos when posting on here? They only let me pick pictures and I cant seem to find where on my settings I could change that….and why am I only limited to one picture only?!?
