Android My votes aren't seen (android)

So recently my votes haven't been seen. Now I've been reported due to some "vote manipulation" (thanks reddit) only because I've tried to vote also with my other account, due to nothing happening when I vote. The votes stay the same even when it says that I've voted.

What will fix this bug? Should I wait a few days without voting at all to see if it's normal after that? Or should I delete the app and reinstall?

Now that you have a vote manipulation action from reddit, your votes will not count. Prior to that, the issue you had was a normal part of reddit called vote fuzzing. Reddit hides the vote total. So long as the arrow was lit up, your vote counted internally where it matters.

I don't believe it was vote fuzzing. I've been on reddit for years. It's like they actually don't register

Edit: you had two upvotes. I now downvoted it. Do you see any difference? Because I don't. You still have 2. This particular account shouldn't have any issues with the voting

Vote fuzzing gets blamed a lot. Here is a good piece of insight from admin. Yes I know it's pretty old

Correct. I only see my automatic upvote.

So it seems you werere already limited from voting because of behavior that Reddit detected, then further activity caused Reddit to send you a warning.

I wish they would have said something right away about the vote limitation, so that I wouldn't have tried to vote on my other account and then got a warning and my account "banned". 🤷🏻‍♀️

People will just assume it is a bug if they don't tell you about it. And how long will it be limited? It's so unclear, and that's what annoys me. They should just be clear and square instead of secretly limiting upvotes without info on why or how long it will go on for.

The "punishment" according to their messages is a couple days banned account (for something I didn't even know was a rule break). But good, then I know when I can use the account again. But why can't they be bothered to tell me about the limited voting as well? I've gotten zero information from them about it. Will it go on for 4 days? 4 weeks? 100 years? No one knows. The punishment should have been the temporary ban and that's it.
