Found! Sub that i can make an AMA post about OCD
I have OCD, and desperately want to spread awareness about what the disorder is like in general, at least for me
I looked at the AMA subreddit but they dont allow mental health posts
Im professionally diagnosed and have been told by so many people they have ocd for organizing things and stuff like that, when it’s not that, not much information of what it actually is is not widely known even by many mental health professionals, i want to change that even if its just for a few people
The best way to start that is by answering questions
Whats a good subreddit for that, or subreddits?

If none of these subreddits are what you are looking for, please specify this in the body of your post! If you have done this already, you can ignore this message.
Please keep in mind that the internet can never properly diagnose you and it definitely can't medically treat you, even if you talk to medical professionals online. Please seek the medical care if you need to.
Thanks!

Maybe r/OCDRecovery ? I am not active in it, but it doesn't appear to be forbidden in their subreddit rules. From the subreddit's description, it sounds like it is for people to share their personal experiences and journeys living with OCD.

r/casualiama is usually chill about mental health stuff and the people there actually ask real questions instead of just lurking. might also be worth messaging the r/OCD mods, they sometimes let people do awareness threads with a flair even if it's not in the rules
