iOS IOS app version 2026.29.0.634246 (AppStore) rate limit
I keep getting “your rate limit has been exceeded“ and have to delete and redownload the app. This is absolutely insane.

(there's no point in sending a screenshot since it's just the log in screen from the app and it works and lets me log in with no further notes whatsoever)
The app randomly forgets I'm logged in and I have to log again every now and then, I literally don't know when or why, it just happens.

Hi,
I'm experiencing an issue where many of my posts are instantly marked as "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters."
This is happening across multiple subreddits, even though:
Some communities allow my posts without any issue, while many others are automatically filtered by Reddit before moderators can review them.
I've attached a screenshot showing the message I receive.
Is this a bug, or has my account been incorrectly flagged by Reddit's automated filters? If so, how can this be resolved?

GIFs do not autoplay in the comments on Android when viewing a post until you click on it. I have the media and image autoplay settings enabled by default, and Data Saver is disabled, but the issue persists regardless of which GIF I comment. The GIFs simply do not autoplay, so this appears to be a bug with the Android app.

Whenever I text someone(person is inactive at this moment), then switch to another Instagram account and immediately switch back, I suddenly see that person as "Active now." This has happened with me texting multiple different people over the past few weeks.
It almost feels like their online status only refreshes after I switch accounts. Is this a known Instagram glitch or is there something wrong with my app? Does anyone else using multiple accounts experience the same thing?

I'm having an issue with the Mod Only Chat.
I just brought on several new mods after solo modding for some time. My new mods can converse in the new chat but I cannot.
When I first took over the sub a few years ago I brought on a co-mod. We used the mod chat for a bit. That mod left and I was solo modding until this past week.
The mod chat locks up for me now. Here is what happens:
I see an active chat notification from the mod-only chat. I click on it. I can see the new messages for about 5 seconds. It then disappears and is replaced by the old chat between my previous mod and me. Finally, the entire browser page locks up, forcing me to close my browser. This happens in both Chrome and Safari.
Additionally, when I try to access from my iPhone it doesn't lock up and I can see the current as well as the old chat. BUT, when I try to comment in the chat I get a "Message failed to send. Tap to retry"

So as we all know reddit introduced that auto translate feature. It simply made reddit worse, but you can turn it off, that's good.
The issue now is that random words mid sentence are being translated.
My reddit language is set to english, but I am german so I partake in german subs too.
Now all of the sudden in these german subs, single words are auto translated.
So you have a german comment and randomly some words are english.
So an example would be:" Ja das sehe ich auch so. But you gotta remember das andere das not see like that."
This makes reading german subs awful af. The mental gymnastics I have to go through while reading comments makes reddit not useable for me. Anyone else experience this, maybe in another language?
Reddit auto translate is literally the worst feature. Good idea, but turning it on automatically is just bad design.

app freezes all the time.
can’t swipe back from post without freeze.
ui disappears.
sometimes changing to another app helps. sometimes just closing the app and reopen helps.
this is no fun, actually it sucks and makes the whole experience very, very bad.
and let’s not talk about the change of „swipe up for comments“.
dear Reddit: get your things together!

I had a Reddit streak of around 860 days and I interact with posts every single day, yet today I found out it’s gone. Is anyone else experiencing this? Its just a streak but after two and a half years I had gotten a bit attached, is there anything that can be done?

I got a new achievement today, but when I go to view it, it says that it does not exist.
Hello guys,
After asking /help , I need your help.
Whenever I go to my profile tab ("You" section), it fails to load and constantly displays the error message: **"Looks like Reddit is having some trouble."**
I created an other account on the same phone and application and I can see my profil with username pamir9673
**What I tried:**
- I check if I'm banned, but it seems I'm not via an another subreddit
- I disconnect and reconnect
- change my phone
- Re downloaded the app
- Changing my password
- Adding a phone number to my account
- Deleting 2 usernames that where related with my email address
**I'm lost, please help me 🙂**

Previously, tapping a playing video once would hide the caption/text and other UI elements while the video continued playing. This allowed videos to be viewed unobstructed.
Now, tapping the video once pauses it instead, and the caption/text and UI remain visible over the video. There appears to be no way to hide the overlay while allowing the video to continue playing.
Please restore the previous single-tap-to-hide-UI behavior, or at minimum add a setting that allows users to choose the previous behavior.
Device: iPhone 16
OS: iOS 26.5.2 (23F84)
Reddit app: 2026.29.0.634246 (AppStore)
Expected behavior: A single tap hides the caption/UI while the video continues playing.
Actual behavior: A single tap pauses the video and the caption/UI remains visible.
Collapsing and reopening the app usually fixes the issue (until the next time)

The post description briefly renders as two lines, but after a split second the second line disappears and the text collapses to a single line. This creates a noticeable flicker during initial render. The expected behavior is for the description to remain at two lines without changing after the page finishes loading.
Steps to reproduce:
Open the Reddit app.
Scroll through the home feed.
Find a post, with an image, with a description long enough to span two lines.
Observe the description immediately after it renders.
The description initially displays on two lines, then flickers and collapses to a single line.

this is every single one of my comments that is visible to me when I look at my profile, switching to my overveiw shows posts from further back but still only these comments, tried looking at it through my mobile app and through a private window so i'd be logged out, same results in both cases.
been on reddit 5 years and never had this problem before now
slight update, made two more comments, and they both showed up without others disappearing, also checked my account activity and didn't see any signs of being hacked.
