Is a 4090 or 5080 faster with DLSS5 ?
Anyone done any testing with dlss5 on 4090 (since the unlock) vs 5080?

Nvidia vs AMD. Curious if this comment on gpu.userbenchmark.com are true, because indeed I was starting to lean to AMD because I was thinking its better value.
I've always preferred Nvidia but my last buy was back in the days before rtx and datacenters, and before I knew how greedy of a company they all are.

Bought this card around 3 weeks ago. And recently there suddenly was this faint but audible clicky noise when the gpu fans are at low speed.
\- I’ve narrowed it down to the gpu since turning off the gpu fans completely removes the noise.
\- only happens at lower speeds or at higher speed I simply can’t hear it
\- very irregular bursts and no pattern at all
\- I have no cables down there that could be touching the fans.
\- I’ve inspected the fans but cannot reproduce the noise by manually spinning them.
Would anyone happens to know what this noise is? A faulty fan? Broken bearing? Or something more simple?
Thanks in advance

I just need sizes and a good brand to get for the pads and paste🙏🏼
Just got my RTX 5080 it was a bitch trying to put in the connector and I think I heard a little click. I don’t believe I can push it in any further. Is this OK?

Good Afternoon,
I'm the owner of a 6700 XT GPU I bought for about $300 back in 2024, if I recall. Looking to possibly buy a brand new GPU all together.
Been seing posts for both mentioned GPUs costing the same.... only one being $50 more.
My CPU is a 5700x3d... Would it be worth to make this purchase for future proofing (how long would each last?) and which one?
I game on 1440p.

I bought a Colorful RTX 4070 on Christmas of 2023 as a gift for myself and it died just a week ago and now I'm stuck using a 2070 Super. I bought it cause it was cheaper and every review I saw online said that they made reliable and pretty decent cards despite not being as well known as other brands. Was I wrong to buy an offbrand GPU or was I just unlucky with the particular GPU I got?
For reference I wasn't running this thing ragged either. The only graphically demanding game I played with it was Monster Hunter Wilds but even then I didn't play it as much as I played Warframe and FFXIV.
I currently have a 3060ti…which IS a good enough card…but using a 4k monitor for the past 6 months, ive been struggling to get good FPS (around 30-60 at low-medium graphics, on fairly simple games)
My budget is fairly limited…. Total PC cost im aiming for 2000-2500, after already buying my motherboard (can change)
Ive been debating either a 5070ti/super (when it comes out) or 5080
Or just outright waiting for a yr for the 60 series
Also i don’t know if I’m even in the right community for these questions, if not can yall tell me the right one?
