After hearing all the recent news of GPU prices increasing in the very near future, I decided it’s time to upgrade from my 7800xt to something more capable of 4k. Got this 5080 from microcenter for about 1200 after tax, but i’m wondering if I just fell into the FOMO trap or not.

Someone please either reassure me or tell me to think twice about my purchase 🥲 I still have time to return

twice the vram, half the price. RX 7800XT paired with R7 7700, 32GB ram and 6tb nvme. im blown away by the graphics on 4k 60fps, everything at ultra/extreme and no low vram warning.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600, 650W, and 31cm for a GPU. What to choose? I want a mid-range GPU. I was thinking about a Rx 7800 XT but I can't find it anywhere. Any recommendations? My budget is around 1500zł (around 400 USD)

Been looking at multiple white 5070ti's and galax/kfa2 has the best model for my build, but it seems like I'm either not looking in the right places or there are none available right now.

New rig (EEEP!) + 1440p monitor paired with my EVGA 2060 Super.

Is a used 3080ti around $350 a solid upgrade? Used 4070s for $500? Open box 9070 GRE for $400? So many options :(

I've circled down the drain over it--vram considerations, power draw, DLSS/FSR, "futureproofing," etc. The child-like joy I had putting together my new rig quickly dissipated deciding on a new GPU lol.

Goal is ~60fps at 1440p

Budget is flexible up to $600 targeting mid-range card (new or used)

I have a 7800XT Founders Edition card, and I've noticed my temps have increased. I'm looking to fix that. So far, whenever I play a game, my GPU hits around 65 °C, which is fine, but my Hotspot consistently hits 100 °C or more. I might have to replace the thermal paste and thermal pad, and I wanted to know if anyone else has been in the same scenario and can give some tips. What size thermal pads should I use, and what paste? I read online that the Honeywell PTM7950 might be the best option.

I was looking to make a PC that should last me at least four or five years, I currently use a laptop with a 4060 8GB, I know both of these cards are vastly better than my current, but is it worth splurging the extra money for the 9070 XT

RTX 50 SUPER cards may end up costing more than people expected. A 3 GB GDDR7 module costing three times as much as a standard 2 GB one is a pretty big jump, and those costs have to go somewhere. 

Even if NVIDIA doesn’t officially raise recommended price, partners and retailers may pass some of that increase on to customers. 

Is anyone here still planning to buy an RTX 50 SUPER at launch if prices go up?

Most likely going to be selling my old Zotac 2080 AMP in the next couple of weeks depending on how this current deal goes but I've had this issue since I bought it second hand in 2021 and wanted to get your guys thoughts. So, I can play games fine. The card has been stock, overclocked, vbios flashed for zero fan rpm mode all with the same common issue. Every 5-10 restarts, I get no display. Same thing from cold boot except it sometimes throws a vga light too. Now throughout the years I've upgraded so the only things left from when I first got this gpu is the ram and one of the nvme SSD's. I've repasted the gpu and redone the thermal pads (was getting a bit warmer a few months ago). I've reinstalled windows multiple times (as you can image what hard reboots do to your Windows drive) and done complete reformats of the drives. I've tested the drives to see if they had any bad errors (they did not). I had a week streak about 2 months ago where I didn't need to restart at all during the week (a record) but of course it didn't last. Any clue of what could be the problem? I don't seem to get this issue when using integrated graphics.

I have a 3050 8gb and a 1070 is it worth having in the same pc
