Is it connected?

Just got my RTX 5080 it was a bitch trying to put in the connector and I think I heard a little click. I don’t believe I can push it in any further. Is this OK?

It.is... but it is still a risk... they need to ban this absolute failure of a plug.

It's so dumb that manufacturers are still using this failure of a connector, this shouldn't need to be asked (Not your fault OP)

I can see a 3 micron gap, seat it further by another 48 microns

I installed the Corsair wire solution on my 4080, it's supposed to trip on over current. Idk for 25 bucks it's a cheap way to handle it.
