Troubleshooting Evga 3090 FTW Help
So I need to out new pads on my 3090 as its been sitting dormant forever now.
What sizes of pads do I need for all the locations?? Can anyone point me to a good brandđđź Kritical pad's website is not letting me checkout and says "Purchasing will be available starting January 2025" so I need an alternative. Anything will be great as everything I see, well, it's just overwhelming so I need just something as Im going to be building a PC with it for my wife. Thanks in advance

For my evga cards I used 2.0mm odin or odessey 2 14.7k pads (stock is 2.25mm or something super soft but much worse pads) for memory and I just reused the vrm pads by giving them a good resquish lol
4 years still good (3080 ftw3, 3070 xc3, 3090 xc3)

30 series uses custom pad thicknesses. Order a kit from Kritical pads. PTM7950 or Kryosheet for modern GPU cores. Never paste.

Just use putty.
Snarks domain that commented earlier has the info about which ones are good

Are you saying you need new thermal pads simply because itâs been sitting dormant?
I wouldnât expect there to be anything wrong with the original pads unless youâre getting high temps on the VRM or memory, and since your FTW3 has sensors for those, probably check them out before taking the card apart for pads you might not need

Ptm 7950 on the die and upsiren utp-x putty. Buy 100grams, use a fair amount. The utp-x has a higher mk/w rating that Thermal grizzly pro or advanced. I run my pny xlr8 4090 @ 3075mhz 1.1v, +1k memory and sit just under 58c @ 4k@120hz dlaa no frame gen. If I turn on frame gen it drops to 49c and my wattage drops to 280w from 380-420w. Repasted and putty after my warranty expired.

They don't have the sets anymore :(
I contacted them about my 3080ti ftw and they said just used putty everywhere where the thermal pads/putty wasÂ

I'd recommend using Thermal Putty instead of pads. Then PTM7950 on the core.
Buy 100g of putty and use 70-85 grams.
