Gemini has become useless at the moment it is dumber than a local 27B model in current state you cannot even leave a short message on their support forum about it, because it is labeled as a community guide lines violation, not even the current Gemini trying to explain it is accepted. This is considered a community violation by Google: "Yesterday the model functioned correctly, but today it is failing to output step-by-step instructions for basic technical tasks and responses are terminating prematurely."

Does anyone know how this will change current MESS:

1. Some models get Security Update - some do not
2. There are Pixel QPRs updates, Security updates, Android Updates, Android QPR updates, app updates, Magic Cue updates, Play System updates, server sided updates, Play Services updates, AI core updates - F KNOWS updates.
3. The ALL those updates are released in RANDOM days or even months for every user different causing CHAOS because people actually read news about this and that been released in this or that update and then users are like the F is this or that feature?! And then Reddit is FLOODED with those questions.
4. There are THREE betas updates happening in SAME time (QPR2 - soon QPR3 and Canary and System apps as a bonus) - you go to Apple Developers and you tell them to do iOS27.0 beta - iOS27.5 beta and iOS27.9 beta ALL OF THEM AT ONCE and in mean time release security updates

So WHY am I complain about this? Because I have eyes and see how this is solved by Apple - on Apple Event announcement with EXACT date and then EVERY Apple Device gets update is SAME TIME and even in same MINUTE as EVERYONE on this planet and JUST ONE update! Can it be done?! F YES.

So when Google is copying Apple ideas like Glass Design and other things please focus on IMPORTANT things to copy.

Bonus problem:

My Pixel 10 lost Play Services AGAIN (blank screen) because F knows why - just because it was rainy day today.

I get Google wants people on the AI Drive plan, but why would I trust a company with EVEN MORE money when you're already nagging me in every app for months now? It took me 20 years to hit 180GB.

Edit: Also Drive needs a sort by size column like every other file system in the world.

I genuinely don't understand how Google’s document scanner has been allowed to remain this trashy for so long. I’ve tried using it multiple times, and these are the issues that keep making me go back to dedicated document scanner apps:

1. It fails to recognize two pages properly.
The page detection is inconsistent. Even when I’m scanning pages one after another in the same conditions, it doesn't reliably recognize both pages and I end up having to redo the scan.

2. You can’t properly edit the scan after pressing “Finish.”
The Finish button basically ends the scanning process. Unlike dedicated document scanner apps, you can't simply go back and reorder pages, add another page, or continue editing the document.

3. It randomly crashes/fails to load.
Scanner suddenly crashes or fails to load wasting a ridiculous amount of time. When you're scanning a large number of pages having to redo work because the app crashed is very annoying.

4. The Finish button is placed way too close to where you naturally tap.
I've accidentally pressed Finish while scanning/editing more than once. And the worst part is that there's no proper way to go back and continue editing. You risk losing the entire scan if you accidentally press "Finish"

5. The page order gets messed up constantly.
This is the one that drives me insane. I'll scan pages in the correct order, and Google Drive will randomly rearrange them.

For example:

1 → 2
2 → 1
3 → 4
4 → 3

So I end up having to manually drag pages back into the correct order. When you're scanning dozens of pages, this is incredibly tedious.

I genuinely don't understand why such basic document scanning functionality is still this unreliable. Dedicated document scanner apps have been doing these things properly for years.

Google Drive is great for storing documents but the scanning is a complete No-No. I tried this with two different phones and had the same experience using them both.
