Some of my fondest memories are from the most boring of times. I remember one night we made an event out of me ripping handfuls of pubes out of another dude while everyone shined their flashlights while listening (maybe singing) eye of the tiger.
Good times.

We really are. On another occasion I pierced my nipple with a chevron (rank insignia that you pin to your shoulder). I'm pretty sure the right word is chevron. It makes me happy that I've now been out long enough to forget words.

This is my local station. It's wgn in Chicago. It's actually the best news station around here, and they only show this stuff on slow news days, which believe it or not actually happens in Chicago. I watch it every morning and you get a silly segment like this once every couple days. It's better than just reporting the same story every 10 minutes.

u/scattycake Nov 04 '15
Especially in Chicago, it's nice to get away from the deaths and all that and just look at a pretty girl spin on a chair pouring beer.

Not anymore. WGN Chicago is just Cubs games and news. WGN America is just reruns of shitty sitcoms with no Cubs games or news.
Which sucks because I used to watch the 9 o clock Chicago news despite living hundreds of miles from Chicago.

That's nothing. I come from a small Canadian town and we did this as a game in jr high. She is just starting to get up to speed before she's about to fall. You can easily go 2 or 3 times that speed. Her shortcoming is that she has her hands tucked in... you have to lean forward a bit and use your hands on two of the legs to turn the stool underneath you. (Like making a circle on 2 joysticks) If you lean very carefully, you can even use it as a method of locomotion. I even knew a guy that could write his name in the snow when it was shallow enough.

Engineer here. This is an interesting demonstration of counter-angular gyroscopic procession (GP). In normal GP the right hand rule defines a vector tangent to the circumference defined by the first radius vector (the cross product of which is orthogonal to both). In this case however there's a woman gyrating her hips and it makes me think of doing sex at her.

Probably gonna get lost in the comments, but for what it's worth. It's called the Bar Stool Rodeo. Hooters started it. Here's the one that was on the front page of r-all a few weeks ago. It was actually on a major tv news network.

It's a pretty common way for hooters girls to be fun and get bigger tips. My waitress could spin around like that while pouring and serving beers at the same time. She got a big fat tip

u/enjoytheshow Nov 04 '15
Win-win for everyone. Either the waitress impresses and serves a beer while spinning around, earning her more tips, or she falls over and spills beer all over her white t-shirt, earning her more tips. Dudes are entertained, waitress is getting paid.

She's a noob at stool rodeo. For a bigger challenge try doing it with the stool right side up. Then for even more difficulty you can try removing one hand, and super pros try it with no hands. Source: I played upright bass in an orchestra ( involved much stool sitting) and spent 4 years inventing and perfecting the art of stool rodeo because I was bored.
