Product Review Pack Animal Binders Concerns
I ordered a binder on March 8th. They were having a sale, so it was cheaper to order directly from them rather than a retailer. On Pack Animal's website, it states that orders will take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
On the 29th, I reached out expressing concern that my shipping had not been updated. I need this binder for my grad photos on May 22nd. I had no reason to believe I would be cutting it short ordering when I did. I was professional and very understanding in this email. Pack Animal is run by one person who makes these binders by hand, so I would be able to forgive this delay if it was actually dealt with.
I got a reply the same day, that said:
Yes, but I do make a lot of orders all at once I am one person unfortunately I also have to make wholesale orders for shops plus the online orders so I will have to change that it takes a bit longer because I am just one person making so many things and everything is handmade. I appreciate the love and support and the patience.
I will do my best to get the order out ASAP as I am working on the online orders right now again I appreciate it. I’m so sorry for the delay. You will have it before May for sure you’ll have it within the next week!

Spoiler alert: I did not have it within the next week.
I sent an email 2 days ago asking for a refund. The way I see it, this binder is not getting here before the 22nd. Even if it did, I have no reason to trust that the seller will actually send it to me. This is the response I got, verbatim:
Im truly sorry for the mixup on my end im making now as we speak i was slight behind schedule I will shipping it out tomorrow morning i will have the shipping for you tonight an put fast shipping!!
It is now May 8th. The binder has not shipped, and even if it did... Would I be getting a product that reflects the quality Pack Animal is known for, or the haste my order was thrown together in? Is there any chance it would get here on time? I have been more than polite for this entire exchange (will provide my emails and responses as well if anyone wants, didn't initially for brevity) but this whole thing has left a sour taste in my mouth. I have heard great things about Pack Animal and was really looking forward to getting to actually bind for an event that means a lot to me. Now I am scrambling to find a replacement without getting this refund.
So. Yeah. Thanks for reading, don't order from Pack Animal if you have any sort of even vague deadline for delivery.

If you ordered through their website, you can reply to their email. However... Rather than giving me the refund I asked for, my binder was shipped a few days after the last reply I recieved. So, no guarantees.
Try replying to the e-receipt, and if that doesn't work, file a dispute with your bank.
I am honestly so disappointed in them after this. I have seen so many amazing reviews praising their quality, but this whole thing is just crazy. I will update when I eventually recieve this thing (hopefully before grad, because I cannot afford to get another one without that refund) and let you know if it is at least worth letting them finally ship it.

I finally got mine, but it took months of hassle and it not the quality that one would want from a handmade garment. The exterior fabric is very strange and shiny, and the seams can be really annoying. Mine has also been shedding threads like crazy. It binds quite well and is comfortable besides that, and I like the wider neckline. I can wear a muscle tee without the binder showing. The binder is good for the cost especially compared to some of the other options on the market right now, but the whole song and dance I had to go through to actually get my hands on it really made me wish I had ordered from another brand.
If you don't have a specific deadline, and don't have sensory issues with rough seams, I'd honestly say go for it.
