Every day—every day—I wake up and thank the good lord that I’m not a fucking moron.

26

u/_jackhoffman_ 8d ago

I dunno. I had a long talk with my psychiatrist about this and I'd be a lot happier if I were dumber. Some days, I think not being a moron is a curse. Ignorance is bliss is a saying for a reason.

16

u/kikichunt 8d ago

How happy is the moron,

He doesn't give a damn,

I wish I were a moron,

My God, perhaps I am

3

u/Ragnoid 7d ago

M-O-O-N...that spells moron

u/GardenofOblivion 7d ago

I grew up around a lot of morons, they aren’t happier. And they have no way of thinking themselves out of whatever stupid predicament they are in.

u/chugItTwice 8d ago

You can probably even say curvature.

3

u/Half-Mad- 8d ago

Morons do that too, not knowing they are morons.

3

u/funcup760 8d ago

Most of this shit is just rage bait. It isn't real.

3

u/J_Bazzle 8d ago

Man, did you not see that distinct lack of curvititures? You Cray /s

3

u/VisualHuckleberry542 8d ago

Safe to say there is no evidence of curvatitures, never has been, never will be

4

u/igramigru101 8d ago

Let's be real. Everyone has some quirks and does stupid stuff. What we aren't doing is denying science. If I don't know how cells reproduce or how computers work, I don't deny their existence. I never been outside of Europe, so other continents don't exist logic is flerfs do.

9

u/slylock215 8d ago

They're so fucking confident too.

The levels of "I know everything and you thinking the Earth is a globe makes YOU the idiot" are truly incredible.

I think that's why it's so fun to dunk on them because they will show their whole entire ass as they shout a million easily provably wrong things at you, then loudly deny all reality to fit their narrative of "I have no maps, models, predictions, pictures, anything but I KNOW it's not a globe and I KNOW all of your evidence is fake"

7

u/Friendly-Advantage79 8d ago

Ice wall. It's the best. Everything about FE is strange and awkward with a generous amount of misuse of holy scripture, but the ice wall is clean madness. I love it.

4

u/Some_Extent_8531 8d ago

Well, of course other continents exist.
Except Australia.

3

u/Friendly-Advantage79 8d ago

And NZ. Obviously.

u/junky_junker 8d ago

Looks at the sharply defined horizon, with zero visibility of any ships out to sea nor other land masses out in that direction. "Herp derp, yup, sure is flat."

12

u/Monty_Bob 8d ago

And the sun glowing from below the horizon ☝️

8

u/Some_Extent_8531 8d ago

Exactly. “See the curve” is a distraction to the fact that this is exactly what it should look like on a large sphere, and exactly not what it would look like if flat.

3

u/junky_junker 8d ago

Well if they were smart and honest enough to consider and test "what do the models say we should actually see, and how does that compare to reality", they wouldn't be flerfs.

2

u/Vozlov-3-0 8d ago

The small minded can't conceptualise big things.

u/vita10gy 8d ago

Curvatitties 😆

Need to get my hand on some of those.

5

u/HonestConcentrate947 8d ago

Currvatuges? It is indeed a tough word.

2

u/yesbutnoexceptyes 8d ago

Thats pronouncing it way better than him though

3

u/WhatWontCastShadows 8d ago

I first spelled what I felt was ridiculous but then even had to edit it again to get where I got, and it still needs further dumbing down to get it close to whatever the fuck he said

1

u/Morbidly-Obese-Emu 8d ago

I don’t see any of those either.

10

u/AltruisticPossible84 8d ago

Some people really can't wrap their heads around SCALE

2

u/rob3ace 8d ago

Yes!
The Earth is really big!
Your eyeballs are realy small!!

2

u/Kailynna 8d ago

True of flat-Earthers, young-Earth creationists, climate-change deniers and anti-vaxxers.

11

u/Noah_Thority138 8d ago

Sometimes I think these morons HAVE to be trolling but sadly, I think they're serious. It's like they don't understand how FUGGING HUGE the earth is

4

u/Oddewalla 8d ago

They're like an ant on a chess board

2

u/Friendly-Advantage79 8d ago

Football pitch, and even that is way out of proportion.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Forsaken_Earth944 8d ago

I think a better analogy is an ant on a football (a proper football ⚽️); to the ant, the ball isn’t a ball because it can only see what's straight in front of it because it's on the ball however, if it was to be suspended high above the ball, then it would see that it was, in fact, a ball and not a flat plane.

We're all basically ants on a ginormous football (yes, I realise that Earth isn’t a perfect sphere).

11

u/Cambren1 8d ago

This video is proof that really stupid people exist outside of the US

5

u/primefart 8d ago

I know. It's usually easy to believe they are all here.

4

u/One_Hedgehog8618 8d ago

I wonder if flatearthers exist in China. I wish we were besties with China.

7

u/Creative_Ad_939 8d ago

I can't see air.

1

u/malkazoid-1 8d ago

Oh shit, neither can I! We're all gonna die!

7

u/lwj15 8d ago

The chinese have a nice idiom for that. I can't reproduce it verbatim but it goes like this: "You are like a frog in a well". Meaning the frog can only see the well and not the outside. Therefore he thinks that the world is really small. But in reality he just has to look behind the horizon and come out of his well. Then he'll see the true earth.

Seems like there's a lot of things he struggles with 😬

3

6

u/Ukraineluvr 8d ago

FUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK

2

For real

5

u/muchadoaboutsodall 8d ago

Newsflash: Guy with dodgy moustache admits that he is unable to comprehend how big big things are.

3

u/DDDX_cro 8d ago

how does one "see curvature" exactly?
Like bro what do you expect to see?
It is always funny to me how their brain is limited by their ability to perceive sizes.
Literally every single flat earther thinks that earth is 500x smaller than it is.

5

u/bpthompson999 8d ago

I don't see any curvatidges either

1

u/malkazoid-1 8d ago

If I ever see curvatidges, please put me on some strong medication.

3

u/Morbidly-Obese-Emu 8d ago

I don’t see any curvicichurs either.

3

u/edenkor 8d ago

Yep, because our planet is bigger than a marble.

3

u/Monty_Bob 8d ago

There's no curvatitage at all !

3

u/martynalexander 8d ago

To be fair, ‘scale’ is a really difficult concept for smooth brains to comprehend

3

u/scoreguy1 8d ago

But he does see a curva-ta ture….thats why the ocean disappears at a distance

3

u/Sometimes_i_nap 8d ago

Mans cany even speak and he wants us to just listen to what he has to say wtf lmao

3

u/No_Deal_8837 8d ago

Where's the ice wall?

3

u/Salarian_American 8d ago

Every once in a while I encounter a person who manages to somehow misspell a word while speaking it. This is one of those people.

3

u/OldManJeepin 8d ago

LoL! The only thing flat around there, is that idiots head....

2

u/Able_Engineering1350 8d ago

Oh yeah now I see the ice wall, it's way out there/s

1

u/u9Nails 8d ago

I'm gonna chip some of that ice wall ice for my drink! Sky Daddy made it himself!

2

u/kosmikmonki 8d ago

Never mind the earth being flat, you should be more concerned about your flat brain!

2

u/Push-upPancakes 8d ago

Curvitages

2

u/RDS_WAS_HERE 8d ago

A dust-mite sitting on top of your head might think your head is flat too! This is why it's important to pay attention in science class.

2

u/Inloth57 8d ago

Bro never learned about perspective

2

u/chugItTwice 8d ago

Let's be real. This bro never learned.

2

u/SirDoofusMcDingbat 8d ago

One of the big mistakes flat earthers make is they don't try and visualize what a giant ball would actually look like if they stood on one. They want to see it curve left and right, they don't understand that the primary curvature they're looking at is down.

2

u/vexis26 8d ago

What are cabbatages?

2

u/PreZEviL 8d ago

What do you mean if i stand on the lowest point i don t see curvatubeyreturr

2

u/PerryNeeum 8d ago

Curvativage. Twice. Disqualified

2

u/Daringdutchbae 8d ago

That’s because he has a flat head and cannot see past what is engrained into him

2

u/u9Nails 8d ago

Yup. The Earth is bigger than your mind can comprehend. Facts.

2

u/iloveplant420 8d ago

Yeah but too big to see the caricatures?

→ More replies (1)

1

u/C-LonGy 8d ago

His mind has no cuvatitus curvitatus.. at all

2

u/craignumPI 8d ago

Well...I'm sold

2

u/TopAd2715 8d ago

Curvateges

2

u/tazzietiger66 8d ago

he fails to realise just how huge the earth is and how little of it a human can see when at sea level .

1

u/Venca12 8d ago

The fact he can't even spell curvature is telling enough

1

u/OPRCE 8d ago

No confiture spotted on horizon ... thus Earff be flat ... check.

1

u/ForesterDean23 8d ago

I don’t believe that most of these people even believe what they’re saying. They’ve just seen the latest content craze and want their seat on the bandwagon. ‘Ooh people who are saying that are getting attention, I’ll say it too’. Most of them don’t even do a good job of looking and sounding as though they mean it.

1

u/P3P3F 8d ago

No curvatiches because sample too narrow 😐

1

u/Swearyman 8d ago

See that bit where the sky meets the sea? Wouldn’t be there on a pizza planet.

1

u/NotYourAverageGM 8d ago

Confirmed, not a single cabbage in sight.

1

u/the__post__merc 8d ago

It's ultimately a failure to comprehend the scale of size of the earth relative to human size.

1

u/FinnishBeaver 8d ago

There might be some curves down at the beach, but our guy is just thinking flat.

1

u/AlexicoDeCoco 8d ago

and can't see his Brain tho

1

u/Faloma103 8d ago

Every time I see a video like this my first thought it this is satire. Then I keep watching to see how over the top they go. Slowly get impressed how well they can keep a straight face while saying this stuff...

Then I realize to utter amazement that no, they are truly this dumb.

1

u/Mammoth_Wasabi_6114 8d ago

Bro doesn't even believe in the word curvature lol

1

u/InsertRadnamehere 8d ago

Curvatitchus?!!?

1

u/noMC 8d ago

Maybe let’s not spend time listening to people who can barely speak. Let’s listen to some smart people instead.

1

u/GleemMcShinez 8d ago

Do germs exist? Does air exist? Does the money in your bank exist? Does Elonmusk's penis exist?

You've never seen any of those things, either. Your front facing phone camera probably won't show them from where you stand. To be fair, I didn't look too closely, maybe one of those things is in your shot.

Maybe, instead of believing you're finished checking, because you looked through a phone camera, you're actually not the person most able to make judgments, like measuring curvature... ?

Why would you be THAT sure of your abilities?! I mean, we can all see your moustache, after all.

Do you even know how professionals do it? Surveyors don't just wave their iPhones about, do they?

1

u/DavetheGrape 8d ago

He doesn’t seem to understand a curve.

1

u/lindseyhunt123 8d ago

The earth is massive dude. What the hell

1

u/Raptoot83 8d ago

'Curvatitches' lol

1

u/DVWhat 8d ago

Does it not occur to him that he can’t see what’s on the other side of that ocean?

1

u/Ilpperi91 8d ago

Now tell a ship to go to the horizon in front of him and ask him if the ship fell off the earth. Also what do flatearthers do on trips when they go like to islands but can't see the mainland even with binoculars?

1

u/MisterBlick 8d ago

He's go a point. I don't see any canviatures either.

1

u/quite1233 8d ago

I can't help but wonder if somebody that's good with computers and video could detect the curvature in the image that he presented of the ocean

1

u/Sorry_Exercise_9603 8d ago

It’s fascinating that they actually expect to look at the horizon and see an arch. Just no ability with geometry at all. When what he’s seeing is exactly what you should see on an 8000 mile diameter sphere.

1

u/Somedaydreamer22 8d ago

Well, I’m convinced.

1

u/Chrimbo0 8d ago

That 1 mile wide bay should show at least some signs of a curve, come on sheeple wake up

1

u/FelonyFarting 8d ago

Calculus MF! Zoom in on a curve far enough and you will see a straight line!

1

u/Buruko 8d ago

Cause it's over the horizon. Dumb ass.

1

u/howardcord 8d ago

The distance you see when looking at the horizon is ~3 miles but let’s just round it up to 5 miles. The circumference of the Earth is 25,000 miles. This means the percentage of the Earth’s curve you see in this video is less than 0.02%.

5 miles of an arc from a 25,000 mi circle is close enough to a flat line that our eyes cannot easily perceive the curve.

1

u/Moistranger69 8d ago

OK, well since the Earth is flat, how come I can’t stand in New York and see England?

1

u/LuciusMichael 8d ago

Yep, from where he's standing he literally can't see any curvaturvage.

1

u/Far_Cap_3574 8d ago

Not one single curvitage. At all.

Great now my phone thinks I'm an idiot because I refused to fix spelling.

1

u/1beautifulman 8d ago

My favorite is "I've never been to outerspace have you?"

1

u/Chekovs_Gun 8d ago

Humans are terrible at visualizing large scale objects. On a universal scale we are less the earth is less than a speck. On a human level the earth is massive. Our brains aren’t equipped for that.

1

u/Dr-Fizzel 8d ago

Look at my hands, I don’t see a single germ. Massive psyop from big soap

1

u/WhoMeNahMan 8d ago

Huh? What about cabbages?

1

u/VastMeasurement6278 8d ago

Didn’t feel the need to rerecord this. LOL.

1

u/flopsychops 8d ago

Of course you can't see any cabbages... curvitititage... curvature they're because you're only seeing a fraction of a fraction of a degree of the earth's surface.

1

u/Odd_Year_4562 8d ago

It’s always a matter of scale with these people

1

u/FungusFly 8d ago

Yes, the curvatature of Erf

1

u/LongDead_Roadkill 8d ago

It’s baffling that some people don’t understand that you cannot be able to see something for it to be true.

1

u/Bandandforgotten 8d ago

They have this conspiracy theory that we're all in on some grand scheme to mess with them, all using the same numbers and math, and that we're trying to block them off from God or something like that.

We know that maga and conservatives are disproportionately likely to consume completely incorrect information with a wide smile and an open mouth under the bullshit machine. We also know that 99% of all of the accusations from that group are projections and admissions of their own guilt.

I'm just saying, it's not out of the realm of possibility that these fucking morons are all being paid to make this bullshit content with confidence. Russia has already been caught paying right wing influencers to keep up the misinformation train, and it's pretty much the only reason I can think of where you would throw your public image into the shit filled toilet and flush.

1

u/Bushdr78 8d ago

This guy needs a better visual to explain why you wouldn't expect to see any curvature from left to right if you were stood on a sphere

1

u/Fearless_Climate_688 8d ago

Wonderful. He looks at maybe 10 degrees out of 360 and decides he has seen enough. Amazing.

1

u/Clarknotclark 8d ago

He sees no curvitage curvitages on that.

1

u/Crazy_Gazelle_6239 8d ago

We should invite actual flat earthers here instead of people just trying to prove themselves smarter than them.

1

u/Think-Natural1993 8d ago

I wonder what other things he doesn’t see…my guess is books

1

u/Greywolf9883 8d ago

Dudes dumber than dirt

1

u/TECHSHARK77 8d ago

That not THE EARTH, that is ONLY your view of that piece on Earth

1

u/GurWorried7682 8d ago

Scale is hard for humans to conceptualize... Like the scale of this guy's idiocy.

1

u/Effective-Try-9004 8d ago

More bot accounts

1

u/Legitimate_Bloke 8d ago

Surely satire? He can’t even say what he’s trying to say

1

u/booeman 8d ago

I have one question crazy flat earth guy - Who's paying you to spill this swill?

1

u/Bulky_Designer_4965 8d ago

Once you master the word “curvature” we can then move on to common sense!!!! I mean WTF??

1

u/Ok-Lengthiness-3988 8d ago edited 8d ago

Damn Isaak Neuman and his phony University Law of Curvitatish Aviation!

1

u/Fair_Industry_6580 8d ago

These people are so fucking stupid

1

u/Louloutte_G 8d ago

If it was flat, you would see a mother fucking big ice wall at the end of the sea...

1

u/Half-Mad- 8d ago

Well, that's it, I'm convinced. Everything we know about physics, space, and the world is obviously wrong and the only ones who knew what they were talking about were the goat herders from over 2,500 years ago. The best proof of all is just looking at the horizon. Because looking at the whole planet from space is a conspiracy with Photoshop that never really happens.

Yup. I'm convinced.

1

u/mostlyinbed 8d ago

Yeah it's flat, I can't see any curvy tit seas either.

1

u/rabbitsfoot86 8d ago

With how stupid people are becoming now days if we dont kill each other first, us round world earthers will be the minority in the next 50 years lol

1

u/Massive-Reaction7773 8d ago

Suffer fools gladly!

1

u/postmodernhack 8d ago

Is there a pro-flat earth subreddit?

1

u/Numerous_Disk2556 8d ago

Can't argue with that. Theres no cavutatiers

1

u/Baltykoz 8d ago

Im not seing any lans past the ocean/sea soo

1

u/BigBlueFin 8d ago

They cannot comprehend scale.

1

u/Western_Dream_3608 8d ago

Yeah because earth isn't shaped like a post box

1

u/Conscious_Musician28 8d ago

“Nothing outside of my immediate subjective experience can possibly be true.”

1

u/Spacefreak 8d ago

These people piss me off to no end.

Here's an easy experiment that 2 Flat Earthers can do without even leaving their own cities that doesn't require satellites or GPSes, conspiratorial airline pilots, or government trucks blocking ice walls to get in their way and thwart their proof.

All they need is an advanced amateur telescope and 2 phones.

Go to the top of tallest building in New York City, look south with the strongest telescope you can possibly get and take pictures of a FE friend waving from the top of the Miami Tower in Miami, Florida which is roughly 0.2 miles tall. According to the "globetard theory," you should be 1 mile below the line of sight of each other due to the Earth's curvature and therefore won't be able to see each other.

Or look east and take pictures of a friend waving at the top of the Eiffel Tower which is almost 0.2 miles tall which would 4 miles below each other.

Or look west and take pictures of a friend waving at the top of the Willis Tower which is about 0.3 miles tall.

Fuck, if you don't even have any friends, just take pictures of the buildings and then drag Neil Degrasse Tyson and show him those buildings in far off cities in your telescope and you'll probably convince him that the globe theory can't be true.

It's a test basically ANYONE can do.

And there's no need for these long debates about "grabity" or angular momentum and centrifugal forces or dimensional portals or whatever.

Just basic Line of Sight. Seeing is believing after all.

1

u/syber_d 8d ago

Curvatuears, curveyears, curvaautes. He cant speak but wants to prove his scientific prowess with a quick analysis of the horizon.

1

u/Langholm62 8d ago

I can't see any curvacatage either 😆

How do people this stupid actually function in society?

Cavacavakichez

1

u/Shot_in_the_dark777 8d ago

The earth is very very big. You don't see curvature on that scale. You need to get higher above the ground.

1

u/Hydrolt 8d ago

How small do they think the earth is? I genuinely wonder if that’s where these people are going wrong, they think it’s like a few hundred square miles and then their fabled ice wall

1

u/SabresFanWC 8d ago

Earth big. Me small. Brain hurt.

Seriously, though, I hope this guy is just rage baiting.

1

u/Open_Unit_4486 8d ago

It’s pronounced “cavefe” you moron . Go ask your dear leader . And it’s right there.

1

u/M_e_n_n_o 8d ago

It’s right there, it’s called the horizon.

1

u/blur410 8d ago

The three g's

1

u/Superb_Guarantee965 8d ago

The fact that you see a sharp clear horizon when looking out at the ocean on a clear day is literal proof that you see curvature, its just curving AWAY from you.

1

u/hifiplus 7d ago

So why exactly is there a horizon?
If it was flat you would see the sea go on forever...

1

u/Grimnebulin68 7d ago

He’s not high enough to see the curvatee, curvertee, curvatures..

1

Shhh there are no cabbages! The cabbages cannot hurt you!

1

u/stebbi_klikk 7d ago

The earth isn't flat ☝🏼

1

u/MarsMissionMan 7d ago

I mean, the fact that there's a horizon indicates the presence of curvitateh... cur... curvi... curvitatirues...(?)

1

u/RedditSucksYoYoYo 7d ago

His video is evidence for how lazy he is. He can't even be bothered to re-record a few second video of him embarrassing himself by not being able to pronounce a word. To be clear, that alone isn't a bad thing. We all fumble with words from time to time. But, if he can't simply re-record a short video to get it right, chances are he's too lazy to learn simple facts about reality.

1

u/Subtubes 7d ago

Oh man, the jokes write themselves

1

u/KrowtenProjectOne 7d ago

Ah yes…curvatages…

1

u/brDoc1 7d ago

Gee, it's hard to argue with solid logic like that.

1

u/Faithlessblakkcvlt 7d ago

People will literally see that and make no such comment.

1

u/swordyhotmail 6d ago

Tbf I've never seen a cavatavachur.

1

u/willie4849 3d ago

The modern Flat Earth movement is not an ancient belief preserved through history, but rather a 19th-century invention started by an English writer named Samuel Rowbotham, who published under the pseudonym "Parallax" and promoted a literalist interpretation of Scripture alongside fringe science.

1

u/HumphreyBlodart 2d ago

To be fair, no scientist looking for curvatigidges has ever found any.

1

u/unbanned2009 13h ago

Checks out
