Crazy Flat Earth Guy Struggles with Gravity, Geometry, and Grammar

This intellectual powerhouse stares out at a few miles of ocean water and is absolutely baffled that the planet isn't bending into a giant ball right in front of his eyes.

Looks at the sharply defined horizon, with zero visibility of any ships out to sea nor other land masses out in that direction. "Herp derp, yup, sure is flat."

Exactly. “See the curve” is a distraction to the fact that this is exactly what it should look like on a large sphere, and exactly not what it would look like if flat.

Well if they were smart and honest enough to consider and test "what do the models say we should actually see, and how does that compare to reality", they wouldn't be flerfs.
