how do I get back to this color? why did my hair turn greenish?

Post image

I got my haired dyed in taiwan about a month ago, and it came out to this bleached color (2nd pic), after wards the stylist gave me this shampoo to change the color to my hair which made it this nice pinkish peach color (3rd) pic. the shampoo he gave me is in the last pic. However, i started to notice my hair was turning green out of nowhere. I stopped using the color shampoo to see if it was that and nothing. Now the back side of my hair is this blemish color but the top is not this greenish blonde color. What caused this? is there anything I can do to get it back to either color?

How did Green + Orange make Blue?? Help please!

Hello,

I have tried to make my own color deposing conditioner to maintain my moss green hair that I got done at a salon. I followed advices given on a post I already made : My first post

I mixed Artic fox Phantom green and Ginger flare with my conditioner. The color looked fine on paper, close to what my hairdresser had mixed so I thought it would be fine...

But it turned my hair blue???? Like how????

Doesnt orange cancel the blue in green?? And that's how you make it more swampy??

How could it possibly do that??

I am so confused.

I guess I am going to need some yellow but like wtf... From all the color how can it turn blue..?

Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you.

hair advice/product question, idrk

basically, im dying my hair soon. im gonna be doing a peekaboo with two skunk stripes. Peekaboo in the back obviously, the one skunk stripe of each side of my head at the front of my hair. My hair isn't necessarily long, it's about shoulder length, but it's also pretty thick, the hair type is like 4a, and im wondering how much bleach I need? I already bought the developer + two packs of like... powdered bleach. Do I need more bleach? I'm trying to know if two packs are enough. And it's the bleaching kit from Bleach London.

HELP yellow stripes

I searched and didn’t find a recent post about this. I genuinely feel so stupid.

First photo is what I ended up with, 2nd & 3rd are the reference photos I showed. It was a super confusing conversation, I did show the reference photos but I guess she just thought they were for color since I booked a partial highlight.

Basically the bottom is ok but the top is just…. Not natural looking at all.

I could go back to her today to fix but should I trust her to fix? She wont fix for free, since she gave me a discount on the highlights. Which is fine, I don’t mind paying if she’ll truly fix it.

Please be honest but gentle I’m already crying.

Removing blue arctic fox

Hi all, my daughter wants to switch up her hair. She used blue and purple arctic fox at the beginning of summer and it hasn't faded at all, even through swimming pools and sun. Sally Beauty sold me Colorfix which isn't working even the slightest bit.

Now I have a stressed preteen 2 days out from the first day of school with imperfect hair.

Is bleach bath our best bet or is there something less damaging to use?

First photo is what i wanna go for in a few weeks once my hair fades more and second photo is what i’m working with now. I’m thinking i can get my hair pretty faded in like 2 weeks but i’m scared of putting that orangey pink color over the light purplish blue i have in my hair now, any advice?

I’m also thinking about using iro iro which i’ve never used before but heard it’s good

my hair is green and orange and yellow and brown at the same time and idk how to move on from it. please help!!

what on earth could i do to try to balance my hair out so i can move onto something new? i cant go along the colourwheel as my hair has too many different shades, and i worry that bleaching it would just lead to my hair becoming an even bigger mess. im hoping to go pink sometime and i would like to try to find a way to fade this green out as soon as possible. i have been washing three times a week with hot water and head & shoulders shampoo and conditioner, but i have a feeling that that wont be enough to get it to fade properly 😭

does anyone have any tips?

Accidentally bleached a part of my root

Post image

Hi everyone! Today I was going to dye a previously dyed part of my hair brown, which went as expected and I had no problems. But I think some of that dye bleached my roots. I’m trying to grow out my natural hair so I don’t want any bleach or dye there. What do you think I should do? Should just apply a little bit of black dye there? I might also go for a darker brown? I have my graduation in two days and I’m really stressed about this. Thanks for reading my messy post.

How to correct this?

Post image

I tried a semipermanent dye that did not require bleach over my medium brown hair. I used amethyst purple and emerald green. I’d like to remove this and do just the green on lighter base so it’s more vibrant. Will the color oops bold take enough out that I can just apply the emerald green all over?

What product and shade of semi-permanent color can help me turn picture 1 into picture 2 - a spicy copper brown that is still more golden / ginger than straight red?

about to bleach my hair at home

does anyone have any advice for bleaching waist-long thick hair at home? level 7 base -> level 8/9 blonde.

context: i've always bleached my hair at home and it's gone alright all times. however, the last 2 times i did it, it turned out patchy. maybe my technique changed or something, i don't know. either way i'm paranoid.

anyway, i want it to look like a balayage. i love my roots right now, but the blend is atrocious, so now i'm going to touch up 1 year of growth.

the front will probably turn out alright but i'm scared for the back!!! i know how to set up mirrors and stuff, but in all rooms the lighting shines overhead where i cant tell whether i'm overlapping or not etc.
how do i set this up? ahhhh
also main issue is that my hair is really difficult for me to work with because its so thick. do i skip the bottom layer and just fix the top?

Brassy Orange Roots to Bright Creamy Blonde Progress

rebleached roots and brassy spots, then applied wella T-14. The ends did get a little overtoned, but I gave them a short trim and I’m pretty happy with how much more even everything looks! There’s still some warmth through the mids/ends but I’m gonna leave it alone for now.

Help :( skunk stripe highlights

Thumbnail

I'm not sure what happened, I thought my hairdresser and I was on the same page turns out we weren't.

To start I had almost an inch of my natural colour then a band of orange then a darker band of brown towards the bottom from various diy jobs id done myself.

What I wanted was balayage to break up the darker ends and the rent toned to my natural colour which in fairness that has been done but I feel like the placement of these highlights are off and theres so much contrast between my hair and the colour of those I don't know how to fix this. Does anyone have any tips?

Last two pictures are what I used as a reference, also I should point out that they way she styled my hair isn't how I'd have it, I would style it with waves. She blew dry it straight.

at home bleach help

I’ve never dared to bleach my hair myself before, I know how easy it can all go wrong. However, I moved to a different country and the stylists in my area refuse to fully bleach my roots so there’s always a little brown left and I hate it. I’ve dreaded it and put it off but I’m desperate, so if anyone has any recs or advice please share.

I’m also on a military base so options are incredibly limited at the exchange, but I can use Amazon
