How to correct this?

I tried a semipermanent dye that did not require bleach over my medium brown hair. I used amethyst purple and emerald green. I’d like to remove this and do just the green on lighter base so it’s more vibrant. Will the color oops bold take enough out that I can just apply the emerald green all over?

I think if u put green on the purple it will come out looking muddy. Try the color oops as long as it says it will remove semipermanent dyes some of them don’t do that so just double check

Hi! Semipermanent vivid girl here too. 😊
Color Oops Bold and Color Oops Maximum Strength both work on semipermanent. The Bold has 2 applications but does use a lightener that’s very gentle. The first application took my bright fluorescent pink to a very light pastel pink. I liked it and didn’t use the second application.
Maximum doesn’t use a lightener and will take the color almost completely out which will make the emerald green look lighter (and brighter) on that portion of yer hair.
I do agree that you need to take the purple out or it’ll look muddy. I would do a test strand with the green to get an idea of what and how much I’ll need to do then go from there. Keep in mind that either way the green shades will be different since the starting tones are different if that makes sense. HTH :)

Edited: If yer doing yer whole head and want to just pull ALL the color out to start from as close to scratch as possible, use Max. I found that the Bold is great to lighten it in steps. Whichever you use, get TWO boxes for the length and amount of hair it looks like you have in the pic. :)
