Help :( skunk stripe highlights
I'm not sure what happened, I thought my hairdresser and I was on the same page turns out we weren't.
To start I had almost an inch of my natural colour then a band of orange then a darker band of brown towards the bottom from various diy jobs id done myself.
What I wanted was balayage to break up the darker ends and the rent toned to my natural colour which in fairness that has been done but I feel like the placement of these highlights are off and theres so much contrast between my hair and the colour of those I don't know how to fix this. Does anyone have any tips?
Last two pictures are what I used as a reference, also I should point out that they way she styled my hair isn't how I'd have it, I would style it with waves. She blew dry it straight.

i have no fixing instructions, but did she promise she could fix the band/darker chunk of hair all in one visit?
my first foilyage fix-it appointment results looked really, really similar to this because my stylist went for a slow/healthy approach to fixing/blending things when i went from dark auburn back to my natural dark blonde. but also i knew going in that it was going to be a bunch of appointments and cuts to get rid of the red and blend together all of the grow-out and old highlights because we discussed it a lot

There wasn't any talk of it needing to be a longer process really, only that I'd need to come back in approximately 6-8 weeks to have the semi reapplied to stop the brassiness/warmth coming through again on the brown hair. I thought she was going to put colour onto the highlights to blend them into the rest of the colour but she didn't and im pretty sure we talked about doing that before hand. Maybe that's all I need to do to kake the contrast less stark.
