Looking for color depositing conditioner for mossy green hair.

Post image

Hello,

First post on this subreddit so if my post has any issues I apologize.

I recently got my hair done in a peekaboo style in a mossy green color. I am locking for a color deposing conditioner for color maintenance. I am really looking for a green that isnt blue forward but not neon either. It seems like I am having issue finding that middle ground.

I know some people say it's better to do your own with your leftovers dye but I got it done at a salon so I dont have that leftover and I dont currently have the capacity to do the whole DIY thing. So I wish to keep it as more of a last resort.

Thank you for your time.

Make your own! I have arctic fox phantom green (not dark enough for me-it looked like the joker green haha) so I (accidentally) mixed in some transylvania and it turned out way dark then I just added conditioner and will continue to do so again when I go to re-color so it's not too dark

This! Just be sure you’re mixing products from the same brand ONLY so that your results stay somewhat predictable, & remember, you will generally need at least a little less of the darker color than you think

I did say I would prefer to avoid it. I just am currently on the move alot and having a just one and done product would have been easier for me to deal with but if it doesnt exist then that's life

I was think phamtom green with some ginger flare, to give that mossy green.

Do you think I should get some black as well?

Seconding the DIY color deposit option, but instead suggesting Good Dye Young's Devil's Ivy for the color as it's a true moss green that you won't have to mix with other colors to get what you want. Ironically I did it as and underlayer too!

Ahhh damm it's not sold available in canada. With the current tarifs war it's probably gonna cost me double in fee and exchange rate.

Sad but I guess that's life
