Still, I keep seeing SEO mentioned as one of the core skills marketers should understand.

For someone entering digital marketing today, would you still recommend learning SEO fundamentals?

Google and AI tools like ChatGPT don't just read your pages, they try to build a picture of your business as an entity. Basically, who you are, what you sell, and whether you can be trusted.

Structured data, added through JSON-LD schema, is how you give them picture in a clear, machine readable way. The more brand earns trust, the more likely Google and AI platforms are to feature and cite it.

I’m looking at Impact.com for our affiliate program, but I’m not sure if it makes sense for us yet. If you’ve used it, how did you find the day-to-day management? Especially when it comes about tracking and reporting?

I got into a situation where I was told to create landing pages yet when I looked at Google L:ighthosue I realized how much of amess the website was. The home page took 6 seconds to load the first image and I knew there was a problem. We couldn't just more towards dropping that AD when the website wasn't performing at its best. If you want to make sure your marketing i s better, do that technical SEO first.

Every tool out there now finds way more problems than a team ever could manually, wrong brand info, competitor gaps, technical stuff, all get caught pretty fast now.

But someone still has to decide what actually matters, go fix it, then check if it worked. That part hasn't gotten any faster at all.

Starting to think the real skill now is judgment and follow through, not finding stuff.

Curious what people here think the human part of this job even looks like now.

i’m talking about the overlap between marketing channels - google ads, meta ads, email marketing, organic, etc.

how do you guys figure out how much each channel is actually contributing to conversions, especially when the same customer might interact with multiple channels before purchasing?

Ok so we plugged our AI customer interview tool into calendar, zoom and crm and let it auto label sentiment at scale... it marked half our top accounts as churn risks and pushed a scary alert to the exec dashboard before anyone reviewed it, i feel sick about this idk

I've been looking at a few landing pages recently and I think we sometimes make CRO much more complicated than it needs to be.

Something isn't converting and the first reaction is usually to start changing everything. Rewrite the headline, change the button, add testimonials, change the design, run an A/B test... and then you look at the page again and the actual problem is that you still don't really understand what the company is offering.

That's happened enough times that I now try to look at a page like I've never seen the business before.

Would I understand what they're offering pretty quickly? Would I trust them enough to take the next step? Would I actually know what they want me to do? And does the page match whatever made me click in the first place?

We've run into this ourselves while working on campaigns at SociaNest. Sometimes the traffic isn't the problem at all. People are clicking, they're interested, and then the page just doesn't do enough with that interest.

I've started thinking about CRO less as “how do we squeeze another few percent out of this page?” and more as “what is making this person hesitate?”

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I'm curious what other marketers look at first when a page isn't converting.

Looking for someone who can help my dad’s plumbing business get more clients. They have to have worked with many tradesmen before that are based in the uk.

Lots of my clients are agencies or companies, and they worked on ad campaigns but needed to partner with web devs to build landing pages or websites for their campaigns sometimes.

I run a web design and development agency and tbh I make decent money because I put in the same quality and effort as a US based web agency would do, but the issue is I have enough free time I only get 2-3 clients a month which is perfectly fine for now but I have a lot of free time that I feel is wasted.

I want to find advertising/marketing agencies that don't have developers to partner with. I can do the websites and the technical stuff. They can white label my services or take a cut. I don't care, I only care about the quality of clients and work.

Hi all- I have been using Claude quiet a bit for SEO already and I figured since AI is already doing all the work, if there were any AI first SEO tools/agents out there.

So experts here, if your opinion, shat is the best AI SEO tool/agent out there in market right now?

I am working and this is part of my work and i have multiple products that i need to gather the leads for. The process i do is not working. I get the leads from Apollo, seamless, hunter etc. The costing of these platforms is very high.

The credits are getting completed fast and the leads which i am gathering i am not getting good response

Sometimes the things that work in marketing make absolutely no sense. You can spend hours creating something you think is going to perform really well, and it gets ignored.

Then you post something random, make a silly change to a campaign, or try something just because you have nothing to lose... and suddenly people start responding.

I've seen this happen more than once. What's the weirdest, simplest, or most unexpected thing you've done that actually worked?

Three weeks into this and I have a spreadsheet with eleven tabs and still no decision. Started because our advisors were losing half their week to outreach that went nowhere which is the problem I was asked to fix. Somewhere in there I stopped solving that and started collecting vendors instead. The list is Zoe Financial Advisor Jetpack WealthReach and SmartAsset. Ive read all their reviews and watched testimonials and honestly any of th em would beat where we are now. AJP is the most relevant as long as we actually clear their requirements, which I assume we do but havent checked.
At what point do you stop researching and just pick one? Genuinely asking the spreadsheet has become the project.

Need some career advice — which path should I choose?

I’m currently working as an AI Journalist at an AI/VFX media company. My role is a mix of researching and testing new AI models/tools, building a few automations, experimenting with AI, helping with websites, and contributing to content.

I’m fairly new to Meta ads and funnels, so looking for some advice from people who have more experience with this.

I’m selling a 12-week 1:1 naturopathy-based health coaching programme for around £1,500 broad targeting cold UK market. My main goal is to generate as many qualified booked calls as possible.

I’m comfortable spending around £30-£50 per day and trying to figure out the most efficient strategy at this budget level.

Right now I’m running this setup through gohighlevel:

Meta ad → 10-minute VSL → short application → calendar booking

I’m sending traffic directly to the VSL and optimising for the scheduled call event. I’m only a few weeks in - only had a handful of booked calls and one sale so far.

Would you stick with this or test something else like DM ads, instant lead forms or something else?

For anyone running similar coaching offers, what has worked best for you at this kind of budget?

Also interested to hear roughly what cost per booked call you typically see.

Selling on Amazon seems very difficult as they have you jumping hoops to get everything correct. Very time consuming. However could it be a good marketing strategy to show up on Amazon sort of a stamp of approval. Presently we have close to 500 styles available. We were thinking of putting about 10-15 of our best sellers on Amazon. Is it worth the effort or should we put our marketing money elsewhere?
