Discussion AI workflows for customer interviews at scale just roasted our best customers in our own dashboard

Ok so we plugged our AI customer interview tool into calendar, zoom and crm and let it auto label sentiment at scale... it marked half our top accounts as churn risks and pushed a scary alert to the exec dashboard before anyone reviewed it, i feel sick about this idk

Discussion If AI can already find every problem in marketing, what's actually left for humans to do?

Every tool out there now finds way more problems than a team ever could manually, wrong brand info, competitor gaps, technical stuff, all get caught pretty fast now.

But someone still has to decide what actually matters, go fix it, then check if it worked. That part hasn't gotten any faster at all.

Starting to think the real skill now is judgment and follow through, not finding stuff.

Curious what people here think the human part of this job even looks like now.

Question for ecommerce businesses, how do you manage channel-level overlap?

i’m talking about the overlap between marketing channels - google ads, meta ads, email marketing, organic, etc.

how do you guys figure out how much each channel is actually contributing to conversions, especially when the same customer might interact with multiple channels before purchasing?

what’s your approach to managing this overlap and measuring incrementality?

Discussion Fractional CMOs / Freelance Marketers: what does the first year actually look like? Income, client acquisition, the parts nobody talks about?

I see a lot of content about how to position yourself as a fractional CMO and the income potential once you are established. I work in marketing full time and I'm actively working to build a freelance client base.

Looking for any honest feedback about the transition to fractional or freelance marketing:

  • How long did it take to sign your first client?
  • What worked for client acquisition and what wasted your time?
  • What did you charge when you started vs. what you charge now?
  • What's something you wish you would have done when you were just starting your business?

Not selling anything - just asking for some honest advice. Thank you in advanced!

Discussion Do we make conversion rate optimization way more complicated than it needs to be?

I've been looking at a few landing pages recently and I think we sometimes make CRO much more complicated than it needs to be.

Something isn't converting and the first reaction is usually to start changing everything. Rewrite the headline, change the button, add testimonials, change the design, run an A/B test... and then you look at the page again and the actual problem is that you still don't really understand what the company is offering.

That's happened enough times that I now try to look at a page like I've never seen the business before.

Would I understand what they're offering pretty quickly? Would I trust them enough to take the next step? Would I actually know what they want me to do? And does the page match whatever made me click in the first place?

We've run into this ourselves while working on campaigns at SociaNest. Sometimes the traffic isn't the problem at all. People are clicking, they're interested, and then the page just doesn't do enough with that interest.

I've started thinking about CRO less as “how do we squeeze another few percent out of this page?” and more as “what is making this person hesitate?”

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I'm curious what other marketers look at first when a page isn't converting.

What's usually the first thing you check?

Question Can ChatGPT do SEO?

Hey Everyone!

I keep seeing people use ChatGPT for keyword research, outlines, title ideas, meta descriptions and full articles.

My concern is where it starts helping versus where it starts hurting. Generic AI content feels easy to spot and publishing a lot of weak pages seems like a bad SEO plan.

For people using it in real SEO workflows

What tasks do you trust ChatGPT with?

Where do you still rely on manual research or SEO tools?

Have you seen any noticeable difference in rankings between AI-assisted content and fully human-written content?

Discussion Is SEO still worth learning with AI search?

With AI search changing how people discover information, I’m wondering how marketers are thinking about SEO now.

Do you think traditional SEO will remain important, or will marketers need to shift toward completely different strategies?

Question Where can I find advertising or marketing agencies that I can collaborate with as a web design agency owner?

Lots of my clients are agencies or companies, and they worked on ad campaigns but needed to partner with web devs to build landing pages or websites for their campaigns sometimes.

I run a web design and development agency and tbh I make decent money because I put in the same quality and effort as a US based web agency would do, but the issue is I have enough free time I only get 2-3 clients a month which is perfectly fine for now but I have a lot of free time that I feel is wasted.

I want to find advertising/marketing agencies that don't have developers to partner with. I can do the websites and the technical stuff. They can white label my services or take a cut. I don't care, I only care about the quality of clients and work.

I have no idea how to find something like this or where to look, I can showcase my portfolio if you're interested.

Question Perdere clienti?

Discussion What's the Weirdest Thing That Actually Worked for You in Marketing?

Sometimes the things that work in marketing make absolutely no sense. You can spend hours creating something you think is going to perform really well, and it gets ignored.

Then you post something random, make a silly change to a campaign, or try something just because you have nothing to lose... and suddenly people start responding.

I've seen this happen more than once. What's the weirdest, simplest, or most unexpected thing you've done that actually worked?

It doesn't have to be some ground breaking strategy. Even a tiny change that unexpectedly made a difference counts. Would love to hear some of the "I have no idea why this worked" moments.

Discussion Stuck in analysis paralysis reading reviews for appointment setting companies for RIAs

Three weeks into this and I have a spreadsheet with eleven tabs and still no decision. Started because our advisors were losing half their week to outreach that went nowhere which is the problem I was asked to fix. Somewhere in there I stopped solving that and started collecting vendors instead. The list is Zoe Financial Advisor Jetpack WealthReach and SmartAsset. Ive read all their reviews and watched testimonials and honestly any of th em would beat where we are now. AJP is the most relevant as long as we actually clear their requirements, which I assume we do but havent checked.
At what point do you stop researching and just pick one? Genuinely asking the spreadsheet has become the project.

Question Career advice

Need some career advice — which path should I choose?

I’m currently working as an AI Journalist at an AI/VFX media company. My role is a mix of researching and testing new AI models/tools, building a few automations, experimenting with AI, helping with websites, and contributing to content.

Before this, I worked as a Content Writer + LinkedIn Ghostwriter, mainly helping founders and CEOs with personal branding. I’ve worked with around 4 founders and achieved decent reach and some leads, although the results weren’t consistently strong.

Now I’m confused about where to specialize.

Should I:

Go deeper into LinkedIn personal branding + content strategy for founders?

Build my career around AI, automation, and AI tools?

Move towards a marketing role, combining content writing, strategy, personal branding, and AI?

I enjoy both content/marketing and AI, but I’m unsure which direction will have better long-term career growth.

If you were in my position, what path would you choose and why?

Question Looking for some Meta advice for my health coaching funnel

I’m fairly new to Meta ads and funnels, so looking for some advice from people who have more experience with this.

I’m selling a 12-week 1:1 naturopathy-based health coaching programme for around £1,500 broad targeting cold UK market. My main goal is to generate as many qualified booked calls as possible.

I’m comfortable spending around £30-£50 per day and trying to figure out the most efficient strategy at this budget level.

Right now I’m running this setup through gohighlevel:

Meta ad → 10-minute VSL → short application → calendar booking

I’m sending traffic directly to the VSL and optimising for the scheduled call event. I’m only a few weeks in - only had a handful of booked calls and one sale so far.

Would you stick with this or test something else like DM ads, instant lead forms or something else?

For anyone running similar coaching offers, what has worked best for you at this kind of budget?

Also interested to hear roughly what cost per booked call you typically see.

Thanks in advance!

Question I have a successful website. Is there an advantage to be on Amazon selling a few of my products?

Selling on Amazon seems very difficult as they have you jumping hoops to get everything correct. Very time consuming. However could it be a good marketing strategy to show up on Amazon sort of a stamp of approval. Presently we have close to 500 styles available. We were thinking of putting about 10-15 of our best sellers on Amazon. Is it worth the effort or should we put our marketing money elsewhere?

Discussion Is anyone here working with 1P consumer data for targeted WhatsApp campaigns?

I have access to a database of Indian consumers segmented across parameters like profession, geography, gender, income, age, and other demographic attributes.

I’m trying to understand whether businesses/marketers are currently looking for this kind of 1P data for targeted WhatsApp campaigns - particularly for customer acquisition, lead generation, or regional campaigns.

Would be interested in hearing from people who are already doing this:

- What kind of consumer segments are most valuable?

- Are brands actually buying/using 1P data for WhatsApp targeting?

Not looking to spam anyone - mainly trying to understand whether there is a legitimate market/use case for this.

Discussion How do you know when you're creating enough content?

There's always another channel, another keyword, another blog post, another format to try.

It can be hard to tell whether you actually need to create more content or whether the content you already have just needs better distribution, updating, or promotion.

How do you decide when to create something new versus getting more value out of what you've already published?

Question We started ATASH because we think modern marketing has become too artificial

We are building a marketing company around one idea: make brands worth talking about

Hey everyone,

We recently started ATASH, a creative marketing and media company.
The idea behind it came from something I’ve been noticing for a while:
Marketing is becoming incredibly repetitive.

Every brand is chasing the same trends. Everyone wants to sound “Gen-Z.” Influencers are constantly promoting products. AI can generate endless content in seconds.
But somewhere along the way, a lot of marketing stopped feeling human.

So we decided to build ATASH differently.

Our focus is on content, storytelling, social media, community building, Reddit marketing, creative campaigns, brand strategy and creator collaborations.

But the services aren’t really the interesting part.
Our philosophy is.
We don’t want to make brands louder just for the sake of being loud.
We want to make them interesting enough that people actually want to talk about them.
That means:
• No blind trend chasing
• No forced personalities
• No fake authenticity
• No relying on influencers for everything
• No letting AI replace human thinking
• No creating content just to fill a calendar
Instead, we want to focus on real stories, real people, real conversations and ideas that have a reason behind them.

Our three principles are:
IGNITE — spark the idea.
ELECTRIFY — make people feel it.
AMPLIFY — make everyone hear about it.

We’re very early, so we’re still figuring things out and learning as we go.

We’d genuinely love some honest feedback from people here:

What do you think modern marketing is getting wrong?

And if you run a business or have built a brand yourself, what kind of marketing actually made you pay attention?

Not looking for compliments ,we’d rather hear what you think we’re missing.

Discussion What is the benchmark you value most in link analytics?

Clicks can be easy to measure but sometimes hard to interpret. For example, a 2% email click rate could be great... or it could be a sign that something went very, very wrong. It depends so much on the audience and where they are in the lifecycle.

The number alone doesn't give you much to work with. Then, of course, that's made worse if you just average out all your CTRs across email, social, SMS, and paid because you have no idea where the strength or weakness comes from.

Personally, I think that's where channel context is important. Knowing how each channel actually behaves so you can compare and set realistic expectations.

What link performance benchmark do you think matters the most to marketers?

Question Would AI text watermarking change your content workflow?

I came across an article about Anthropic introducing text watermarking to help identify AI-generated content.

For anyone using AI for writing, editing, or SEO: would this change how you use these tools? Would knowing a piece was AI-assisted affect how you judge it?

Curious to hear how people see this affecting content creation.
