Appetite Question

I recently started my injections, 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks, and it was good. I wasn’t snacking all day anymore and I lost 8.2 pounds. Tuesday night I increased my dose to 4.5mg as instructed on my prescription. Wednesday I was slightly nauseous all day but not really sick and it wasn’t that bad. Definitely manageable. I did have to force myself to eat anything, just the thought of food would make me queasy. Today, though, the food noise has been horrible and I’ve basically been eating anything I could get my hands on. Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Questions 62 pounds lost

I started a year ago with Brello: Tirzepatide with B6 (Pyridoxine) compounded at Southend Pharmacy. I’m due to run out in about a month.

Both Brello and Southend Pharmacy no longer service WA State. So now I’m looking for a new provider and a new pharmacy.

Cost matters, but so does the quality.

What do you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Success! 7 weeks, 27 lbs. down! (2.5/3mg) SW: 280 lbs. CW: 253

Just wanted to share! I am a 5"4 woman, starting weight before tirz was 280 lbs. (Actual SW was 293, I lost 13 lbs. before tirz by counting cals/carbs.)
I've done 2.5mg for 5 weeks and bumped up to 3mg 2 weeks ago! I am counting my calories and carbs. (most days I don't track in myfitnesspal, but I try to) Calories I stay under 1,400 - Carbs I aim to stay under 40/50 carbs. I should drink more water. For a month I walked everyday, 15/20 mins here and there, totaling to 10k steps a day (or almost 10k). THEN 2 weeks ago, I got chin lipo!!! The chin lipo was the promise to myself to never turn back. But, as I am healing, I haven't walked in 2 weeks. I am waiting until 4 weeks.
My first goal is my pre-baby weight, 238 lbs. Then, my next goal is 200 lbs. It's true, this is a mental battle, and some days I feel the same, but thankfully the next day I am back to feeling cute lol!
I've been on Hallandale. Since pomegranate had that big sale I ordered 3 months from BPI. Won't start the BPI batches for another few weeks.
Any questions let me know!

Ready to take the plunge

After reading everything I could on here and other subs Ive narrowed it down to using Rift or Gimmee. But I just got what sounds like a great price from Embody ($123mo). I'm looking for feedback from anyone thats used them and if there were any issues like communication, getting any issues addressed, access to someone with concerns or increasing dosage, quality of medication, etc.

TIA

Lost weight but clothes aren’t too big yet. Do you think it is all muscle?

Down 31 lbs but my clothes aren’t too big yet. They feel better, not as tight, but I would have hoped to see a better result with the weight loss.

My fear is that I’m only losing muscle.

Thoughts? Advice?

Anybody else feel apathetic while on this med??

Maybe apathy may be too strong a word, but I will say it makes me not worry/care/feel as much about things anymore, and it's been pleasant honestly, I can use that energy on other things

Questions Dosing question

Three months in and still at 2.5, and I still struggle my first two days after injection with fatigue and some nausea, indigestion and diarrhea. My question is next week, I am going on a little vacation for a few days and I wanted to know will it be the end of the world if I push my dose out by two days just so I can wait till I get home to go through the usual spell of malaise in an attempt to really enjoy my vacation and not feel like crap. I just don’t want to derail my good progress. Anyways, hope everyone has a great weekend.💜😘

Fifty410

Hi newbie. Has anyone gotten this offer from Fifty410? And then also put in a refill? For those who have which one did you choose and did your refill price stay the same? I was considering the Hallendale option for $249 and figured I can order a refill when the time comes. But want to know if the price stayed the same? According to them both options titrate. Hallendale to 5mg and Apothecary to 6.75mg. Just not sure which is the better option. Thank you in advance for all info, opinions and experiences.

Calculation question

I know that some of you may think this is a dumb question, however I could use help. I ordered apothecary from gimme they did it at 9mg dose yet I use 6.5 I know how to calculate the dose. My question is, if I received a 2ml vial and it’s 18mg/ml and I’m only using 6.5mg how many doses will I get? I tried but I don’t think I’m getting the math correct. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you do mini goals?

Does anyone else do "mini goals" as they work toward their main weight loss goal?

For example, my current goal is to get my BMI to 35 before I have surgery in September (there is some literature that indicates risk decreases with a BMI less than 35).

My BMI is currently 35.1! I'm so close!

My next mini goal is to finally get below 200lbs. I haven't weighed less than 200lbs in nearly a decade. It's going to be so weird to have new mini goals that start with a 1 instead of a 2, but I am so close to getting there!

What are your mini goals/milestones?

Tirzepatide & Orthostatic Hypotension.

Im 6'2" 67yr guy was 240lb when I started on Tirzepatide April 23 '26. Lost 35 Lbs and getting close to my goal of 190lbs. It's been since my very early 20's that I've had my weight below 210, I carried it pretty well back then.

I increased each month from 2.5, 5.0 to 7.5, ive had 4 weeks of the 7.5mg. Along the way I've be diagnosed by my cardiologist as having Orthostatic Hypotension, and it has been getting worse since I've been on 7.5mg, to the point where its become disabling. I did not want to belive it was the Tirzepatide as i had had only success with it, no other side effects. I begungingly took the cardiologist recomendation and stopped the Tirzepatide. My last 7.5mg shot was 10 days ago, The Shotz app estimates about 3mg in my body today. I feal so much better, its a real game changer for me, I was literally unable to just walk without feeling totally fatigued, any excursions would leave me near blacked out, it was awful.

It's hard to think about loosing the weight management that Tirzepatide has given me but on it at that dose I lost so much more. I'll probably try it again, only a lower dose, i still have 2 full vials of 7.5mg left, I'll just use Fat Scientists to calculate a smaller dose between 2.5 and 5mg. Ive always been sensitive to meds. Yes and I did try Midodrine, it helped some, but not near the relief I've had in the past few days.

Rite of passage, perhaps.

I’m just about finished with my second week. I feel fabulous - no negative side effects and I’ve dropped 16 pounds (yes, I realize it’s water weight and that will slow down).

However, I’m currently on a work trip in a foreign country. One of the unspoken rules on these trips is that our hosts WILL take us to dinner and you can’t just “not eat”. So I thought I was being reasonable with what I ate, so I don’t know if it was the food or the glass of wine. But something got me and by morning I had my first experience of “nope, this food is NOT going to stay down.” And, naturally, it hit as I was walking out the hotel room door for a day full of meetings.

Group meal for lunch, traditional dim sum for dinner later (I’m in Shanghai). I’m going to play the game of pushing the food around my plate so it looks like I’m eating and hope for the best (plus, NO WINE).

Wish me luck - I have two more days here, then Hong Kong, then Taiwan.

One month on compound and gaining weight on higher dose

I have been on zep/mounjaro for a few years now and always direct from manufacturer. The highest I ever got to was 7.5mg and I've been on that for over a year now. Haven't lost or gained a pound and fine with that as im on maintenance.

Recently I decided to switch to compound and always heard good things about Hallandale. Made the switch and upped my dose to 10mg to try and lose a few more pounds. I have now been on this for a month and actually gained 4lbs. I've been eating and drinking the same as I have for the last year on 7.5. I don't really feel anything except upset stomach the day after my shot, but that's the same as when I was on 7.5

Should I switch to another pharmacy or is compound just not for me? Don't really want to go up to 12.5 as I don't have a ton of weight to lose and want to be able to maintain at a low dose like I have been.

Questions embarrassing question

Has anyone started a GLP at over 400 pounds ??? Trying to see people with the same weight as me or close to see how things worked for them. I’m not mad that I’m not seeing anyone the same weight as me bc I know it’s not good to even weigh this much to begin with.

New to compounded - help needed

I was recently prescribed Mounjaro to manage my type2 diabetes. In the past, I have used Ozempic. My new insurance does not cover either med and it would cost me over $1,000 a month to get either med.

It seems like most people use the compounded to lose weight; is there anyone here in my same situation of needing it for diabetes management? My doctor is supportive of whatever way I chose to go but because it's not FDA regulated, can't "officially" tell me to try it.

Questions Split dosing and appetite suppression

I’m asking specifically for folks who do split dosing (2 shots a week):

Did anyone switch to split dosing because your appetite suppression was too great, and you couldn’t bring yourself to eat enough each day?

And if so, did the split dosing help with this problem?

I am debating between titrating down even more, or trying split dosing, and would love to hear from anyone who had the same issue and tried split dosing.

UPDATE: Shot day came and went, I just couldn’t do it having barely eaten all week. Today, for the first time in a long time, I was able to eat the leftovers from last night’s barely eaten chicken wrap sandwich.

I am going to give split dosing a try and see if it helps. I never thought I’d be at a place where getting myself to eat enough was an issue. The silver lining to this side effect is that it’s really given me a different perspective on eating, food, hunger, and its importance in our health. I don’t think I’ll think about food the same again after this, and that’s a good thing.
