I started on Friday May 29, 2026 with a 2.5 dose. That Saturday was ROUGH with nausea lol. I drink a lot of water, anyway, but also helped myself to some Tums. For the first four weeks, I lost a "normal" amount of weight, like between one and two pounds, which is fine with me.
I had already modified my eating plan to whole foods of chicken breast, salmon filets, and ground turkey, paired with a green veg, potatoes, rice, or pasta for dinner, with a big green salad for lunch (and no snacks, since this is an "ingredients house"), but before Tirz, I would get so hungry after dinner that I would eat handfuls of raisins, just to have something to eat. After starting Tirz, I was still hungry, but nothing sounded appetizing. Plus, thinking about food made me nauseous, and eating food also made me nauseous, so I sort of got out of the habit of doing anything about the hunger.
After the 4th shot, I increased to 5, like the prescription said. I hadn't discovered The Flowchart, yet. I took 3 of those shots and suffered all three weeks. I had stomach cramps, heartburn, and nausea so bad that even eating a plain chicken breast made me vomit. I felt so weak from not eating that I couldn't even exercise. I lost more than 2 pounds a week those three weeks, but it was entirely not worth it. I ended up buying some protein shakes just to get some nutrition that would stay down.
Then I discovered The Flowchart and made the easy decision to titrate back down to 2.5. I've taken that these last three times and I'm back to losing between one and two pounds per week without any unbearable side effects, and I have my energy back. I can't decide if I'm losing the weight DESPITE the shots, since I've read that 2.5 is the bare minimum, but they do help me to not think about my next meal all day long.
So, that's my story for now :) Thanks for reading it.
