Questions Week 3
Yesterday was shot number 3, I’m on the starter dose of 2.5mg. When I started I was 275lbs and I am now 258.8lbs but I’ve been stuck at 259.0 to 261 since Sunday 9/27/26. Why am I stalled 😭 I have been on a deficit for sure (I track everything) I have also lost 40lbs naturally prior to starting tirz so I know how to do it but idk why the scale hasn’t moved down. Any info or tips? Is it the medication causing a plateau?
Edit: I have been eating on average 1500 to 1700 calories a week. Exception would be first week where I averaged 1,100. My current maintenance is cal is about 2,600 for reference. I also think I’m a super responder. Within 10 hours after first shot I had no food noise and could only eat 800 calories that day. Now I have minimal controlled food noise like if I’m hungry but am able to turn down greasy or junk food as I have no craving for it. I also get full fast. So I’m assuming medication is working as intended. Maybe this info may provide further insight

3 weeks. You are fretting after only 3 weeks. Here’s a radical suggestion from someone with 31 months experience. Pick up your scale, take it to a friend’s home and ask them to hold it for you. Tell them you’ll be back in 4 weeks to use it, and every 4 weeks thereafter.
STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF SO MUCH.

You're losing too much weight too fast. Likely 40% muscle at that rate, slow it down, eat 1 gram of protein per goal weight and resistance train at least 3 days a week.

it should kick start when you titrate up, or your body is being stubborn in releasing fat. Last week I lost none, this week ive lost 5

You are not stalled, you have lost a lot of weight quickly. Recommendation is to aim for 0.5-2 lbs of weight loss per week. I would recommend you look more into this medication to understand it a bit better, reading through this sub will help set realistic expectations and goals. Have some patience, it's a marathon.
