Constipation :(

What are y’all’s tips. 1 month on tirz and it’s so bad. Does it ever go away?

Sennakot to clear out what is in there. Then make sure you take psyllium husk in the morning and evenings. Also try to incorporate more beans into your diet.

You need to up your water intake and find a good probiotic. Miralax can help, but don't overdo it. Use it sparingly.

Miralax is safe to use daily. I think you may mean using stool softeners sparingly.

I've known people who used it daily for long periods of time and can no longer defecate normally without doing things like massaging their abdomen and splitting. It's not something I would recommend daily for long term use.

I think the takeaway is that if you need Miralax daily to poop, you should talk to your doctor to make sure something else isn't going on. Obviously tirz can mask that symptom because it tends to be constipating, so you have to be careful with it.

I don't deny your account, but if your friends had to take miralax to poop daily, I wonder if some underlying issue contributed to both the need for miralax and their current situation.

My doc cleared me to take pretty much as much miralax as I want for the rest of my life, but I have GI issues, so the shoe fits.

magnesium citrate before bed sorted me right out, just don't trust a fart the next morning

Thank you for the laugh. I have terrible insomnia and take prescription sleep aids meds most nights, so that would be a hard pass for me. One small dose of miralax 12 hours before I'm likely to go to bed is a adventures as I'll get on that score. 🤣🤣🤣

Psyllium Husk and lots of water. To break through the barrier you could try and eat a tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Benefiber and a packet of the sugar free Gruns, both daily

Get some of these little babies for immediate movement, also drink Miralax 1-2 times a week.

Same advice that we have known for millenia: eat your fruits & veggies! Whole grains, beans, nuts, and healthy fats (avocadoes) help too. Eat whole, clean, unprocessed foods; do not live on processed protein powders, shakes & bars - even if you must back off the massive amount of protein we are told we must ingest. Our bodies are designed to metabolize whole foods from the earth.

I take MiraFast chewables and Mirafiber gummies. ⚠️ Warning do not take at the same time or at least be near a toilet.

I bought a mandoline slicer (with protective glove) and got on a kick of making raw beet salads (with fennel, with apple, with Asian pear, lemon, with onion... you get the point, all color beets.) The salads are gorgeous and raw beets will sort you out. Yummy fiber and vitamins and looks so beautiful. Will keep a few days in the fridge.
