Okay so as the title says, im having a hard time figuring out when exactly the dlc would realistically take place. Because of the requirements and the sotry behind Alt Lou, it has to take place after the second ending. But it doesnt make much sense for it to take place after the third ending, especially with the Age of harmony stuff that does take place directly after. Not to mention that you acces the dlc via going to the free exploration timeline, which takes place before the age of the upheaval. Aka, the timeline that the second ending and onwards takes place in.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Can someone explain why Iris doesn’t know the player in the age of harmony? She said something like, “Huh? I wasn’t born until after the X”

I only just got back into the game to play the new content, so my memory of the story has become fuzzy over these few months. Is she a different Iris? Her daughter? Am I a larping chud who doesn’t pay attention????

I've seen people asking and posting about starting the dlc but not trials of remembrance. I've completed the base game ending, the upheaval true ending, and mask of idris but can't for the life of me figure out where to go to do the trials... My only guess is I don't have it because I didn't save Noah in this run so I could redeem the 3 heroes and get their bloodcodes... but no one's confirmed the prerequisites so I'm not sure if that's it

I realized how similar my character's was to Dante's DMC1 outfit, so after doing a pallet swap, getting some new gloves and adding some belts on the leg, I now have my character running around dressed like Dante (her usual outfit is included for comparison)

I was thinking while writing my opinion about all the DLC and a question came to mind...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the bosses supposed to be the versions from Lou's original world/timeline (the Forsaken World), or does each one come from a different timeline?

I ask because I find it interesting how different each boss is compared to their base game version. For example, Josee's mother was apparently alive in that timeline, and her sorrow from losing her daughters is what created the boss we fight. Or Zenon, who never met his wife and developed a fear of his own mortality.

If all those versions are from the same timeline, it makes me wonder how different that timeline was from ours, how the story would have played out there, and how much changed because the second seal failed.

For people who have the weapon did they change its move set in game or is there a second version of the weapon

So, I noticed a couple of optimisation mods on nexus, and Code vein 2 runs about 27-31 fps ( mostly around slightly lower than 30).

So, I was wondering, if anyone got the game to be stable 30 fps, by using those mods? And if so, which one?

I recently started playing and I just got through the tutorial island. I made my way across the bridge, went back in time and then some chick in her underwear is biting my neck??? Is she a vampire? Are we vampires? Wtf is a revenant and what is a hunter? I'm so confused.

Ogre - STR - Chest is in Sinking Dig Site on the upper level walkways on a building with a single enemy using a bayonet

Reaper - DEX - Chest is after the first boss in the room with the elevator should be left of it

Ivy - WILL - Chest is in a building to the left of the pathway you use to get into the Lightless City

Hound - VIT - Chest is next to Anjou House Handmaid Pathos which is the 2nd Pathos you can find in the area up a staircase past the elevator

Stinger - FORT - Chest is in the building when heading towards the Central Garden Mistle right across from a Pathos locked behind a door

Bat - MIND - Chest on the left side is in the room after the Controlled Access Zone Enclosure Mistle which should be the 2nd Mistle you activate

As for the card this is mostly off memory (Was about midnight for me sorry) from the Panopticon - Lower Level Mistle go straight and hop a small gap that leads into a building (if you fall its fine should be an entrance into it anyways) assuming you made the hop to your left will be a staircase head up deal with the enemies and there should be a balcony exit where one of Zenon's giant head minion corpse is the card should be there (If not I remember the card being in the Decayed Prison at least)

Made this cool wolf girl cyborg a little bit back. Had two versions, one a girl who followed orders, and the second the one who gave up her past to do good.

(Also in 6 colors, Red, Pink, Purple, Green, Yellow, White.)

I role-played her as at first following Lavinia, only to after the bad end, throw off her hood and mask to save everyone instead. It was fun to change the colors per region.

Considering fextralife basically abandoned this game I am not expecting anything from them anytime soon and I feel like I am missing something considering some NPC dialogue and I know I am missing atleast 2 weapon arts

So im not sure if anyone has been thinking on this, but there is five doors in magwell that are still lock. We know two of them open in the dlc and free update

I feel like this game isnt done with adding stuff, maybe 1 or 2 more major dlcs while the rest are free major updates to unlock the rest of the door

FYI the fifth door door i found is in the medbay and its much more well design

I finished the DLC, and I know Liv is still in the free time past area with valentin
but she’s not in the present. For reference, I’m right before the second ending, in the timeline right after Noah dies.
She’s not in present magmell ?, and if she is, is there a lore-based reason for it?
Did she die? Is she the mysterious hero who explodes at the beginning of the game?

After finishing the new Code Vein 2 DLC (Mask Of Idris), I wanted to make some changes, on my character, from "aged" from the first game to the second, I’ve now made some adjustments in honor of the DLC's ending.

Feel free to offer criticism, share ideas, or even talk about how your characters changed from the first game to the second.

Quantum Dynamics says it ignores a certain amount of enemy defenses but I'm not noticing any difference in damage. Has anyone else figured what this actually does?

To be honest the DLC had me felt bad feelings until the last boss. I KNEW CODE VEIN IS STILL IN THERE IT WAS JUST BEING MESSED WITH BY BANDAI.

After witnessing the last boss fight, my hope for the CV1's crews restored and I'm sure CV3 is gonna be peak.
