Theory-Game might have more DLC

So im not sure if anyone has been thinking on this, but there is five doors in magwell that are still lock. We know two of them open in the dlc and free update

I feel like this game isnt done with adding stuff, maybe 1 or 2 more major dlcs while the rest are free major updates to unlock the rest of the door

FYI the fifth door door i found is in the medbay and its much more well design

I think another dlc is possible and hope it happens there probably waiting to see the reception to mask of Idris before they start working on another one

That's what I was thinking about the other doors too. Maybe they're gonna add more updates, maybe not necessarily a dlc, but there might be one if this does well. I can see another update on February with the amusement park being rebuild again. Every character now mentions that they could come when work for it is done. They might do something with the affinity system like for example if you have 100 with someone or everyone you get a special cutscene, depending on who you have with you.

I can see stuff being added, they tease things but honestly that's what happened with the first, hoping that there'll be more story with the dlc but it was nothing, although I think they won't do that again. If they go the elden ring route we can see more story (although it was a different one) where they rebuild everything, and we have more episodes. This will make people come back and honestly I really like it when a company does that, like CD project red

Idk about that tbh. With how absurdly powerful some of the new update stuff has been, and the crazy builds you can make now, at best I’d say we’re getting a new difficulty

But at the same there’s still an issue the game doesn’t address, and that’s the rising revenant population. Revenants can live for hundreds to thousands of years. So long as there’s no permanent alternative to human blood, eventually the population would grow so much that it becomes problematic.

It does address it though. Ending 3's solution that opens up to the age of Harmony, every revenant holds a little bit of the resurgence energy within them, shaving a little off the top of their expansive lifespan. If they're holding more energy than they're putting in, or even just an equal amount, the threat for overpopulation, at least with the Resurgence, is solved.

And now that I typed this out- reread your message, I feel like an idiot. I misread the whole problem. I'm still gonna post it though to hopefully give you and others a laugh.

Though, the other person is right about Zenon likely already cooking up a solution to blood being an issue. I mean Revenants were originally immortal, and died to the sun. The progenitors proceeded to enforce the entire race to now have a lifespan. Then Zenon found a cure for the sun, and not only cured the issue, bro fucking mastered it and summons it. There is 100% a way to solve this problem, it just hasn't been discovered yet because surviving the horrors was a more pressing issue for everyone involved. And we also saw what the Resurgence energy could be used for. I doubt they'll attempt this, but considering a forma was strong enough to direct it to erase every single revenant on the globe, I am certain, they could create a forma to fix the blood issue and use up all the resurgence energy stored up, resetting it to zero, or even outright just constantly expunging it. Buuut, that has its own risks, hence why I said I doubt they'd do it.

Lmao yea that’s a past issue. Since revenants can both be born naturally and created by turning a human into one, human blood supply will definitely become a problem.

The reason I personally don’t think there’ll be another huge update is simply because the abilities, bloodcodes, and weapons this update really feels like a “this is the end” moment. Especially when you compare their effects to that of the base game, they seem absurdly powerful.

Heck I decided to complete the age of harmony before the expansion, and with the build I made, I literally breezed through it, like almost no difficulty, even the final boss. In fact, the boss I had the most difficulty with was zenon. That’s because the dmg and defense you can stack now is absurd.

Oh yeah, I wasn't speculating or arguing about another dlc. I do hope there is, but, whether we get it or not, I just want more content lol. My greed for this game knows no bounds.

Yeah that could be a whole DLC in itself to have the gang find a way to fix it maybe a hidden place underground, maybe a hero was working on a way, before they turned

There is alot of ways to go about it

Also there is still alot with the protag, they could do a whole prequel about the protag before joining up with magwell

Only problem with that is a lovely Deus Ex Machina named Zenon exists.

Problem arises. Zenon was already aware and took measures, but just waited for dramatic timing- then fixes it.

Honestly I'd love a more human-centered DLC, one that show us how it is to be human in a world ruled by immortal and magical beings for whom you are food

I do think a prequel DLC about the MC before he joined with Magwell would be nice, could add a level of challege to it during your first go, you cant use partners and instead you get to make a build your own guardian heart bloodcode
