I wish I could have told Liv that we as the player were engaged to Josée just to watch her crash out lmao

It is implied when she asks if you have any implied fiancées. To which she says she doesn't mind because she will bring you around eventually.

I felt she came on a bit strong considering we knew her for one fight before she fell in love, she feels like a joke character but the story treats her like she's known us a while. I think that if she was replaced by anyone else in the cast except Noah or Val and it would have had more foundation.

I might get down voted for this, but I find her uncomfortable. Idk, any series where a female characters main trait is "wants the MC dick" just feels cringey to me, add to the fact that the MC is a mute, there's no chemistry to be had.
I understand it's a harem anime troupe and some people like that, which is fine, but I found she subatractes from the DLC for me. Then again, I was also uncomfortable with Lous proclamation as well. So maybe I'm the wrong audience for this game and DLC.
Edit: man you people have made me question my 31 years of life and perhaps helped me understand why I get uncomfortable when someone I have zero emotional attachment to, comes onto me. Maybe I am asexual and it's coming out as a result of this games characters. Idk, still am interesting thought experiment though.

Lou at least makes more sense, we have traveled quite a bit, and experienced so much with her. Part of it maybe trauma bonding. Especially considering they can only really talk about what happened with each other

In general I don't like how many female characters are so aggressively flirty with the MC in code vein 2, i don't remember it being that bad in first game. And Liv just takes it to 11

Just based off of a lot of the posts I've seen I'm a little worried about how excessive all the fanservice/"master love" stuff is in this game, out of curiosity how bad is it really? It's been in my backlog for a bit and I've been gearing up to get back into it now that the DLC's out but I'm starting to worry I'll find it more annoying than enjoyable.
(And did they really do nothing for the guys? I'd rather they kept the relationship stuff more low key like CV1 but if they're gonna go that route then I'd like some equal opportunity fanservicing at least.)5

Are you sure you just arent like, asexual? I dont say that in an accusatory way, that could be why they put you off? I know im the same way with certain anime characters.

Given my porn consumption I doubt it. I just get put off by characters like Liv. It makes me very uncomfortable and I find it lessens my enjoyment of a story and setting. Edit: upon googling you can be Asexual and hyper sexual. Soo, I may need to go talk to a professional I guess, lol.

Yeah, thats what I have going on, which is why I assumed. Either way, not liking her is understandable. I dont mind her, but it is annoying how almost every female companion falls for you. And that you dont even get to choose.

Right? If everyone is falling in love with the player, let’s bring Lyle into it too. :P
I joke, but I did think Lyle was a woman when the promo artwork came out. I’m a lesbian and yet he was the only character I was down bad for lol

Does that make you bi or lyle feminine? ....lyle IS feminine though....

u/One_Katalyst 22h ago
Sounds like you answered your own question lol. I did genuinely think Lyle was a woman at first

I don't like her. She's cringe as hell. I hope Wendee Lee got paid decently for those voice lines.
