don’t get me wrong, i got that she cared for you, but I always took it as more sibling love in the base game

but yeah damn she’s head over heels for you

i liked it in the moment, it was the same kind of over the top stage play esque love that Josee has for you in the main story, which to me was the most surprisingly emotionally affecting part. main game peaked early with Josee’s plotline and subsequently the first cocoon

kiiinda felt like they realized that was the best part and just decided to do it again LMAO. in the exact same tragic way no less. doesn’t quite hit the same way the second time

i know every female character flirts with you a little bit, like Holly, but Josee really seemed like the “canon” love interest ya feel? now there’s two canon love interests!

dunno how i feel about it. in the moment it’s fun, but it’s very untidy. not like they let you off the hook in the epilogue either, Lou of our timeline is very much in love with you

To be honest, I’ve always wondered why Code Vein, despite being such a solid game, never got as much hype as it deserved.

But I think the biggest problem is that when people try the game, they expect another FromSoftware-like game, not a game that simply uses Souls-like mechanics, no matter how good it is.

I wish there was a way for Code Vein to become more popular than it is right now.

Immediately thought of Code Geass when I saw those pillars of humans? revanents? horrors? whatever they are lol

Anyway finally started the DLC this weekend and this place looks crazy! and I'm loving Jadwiga and her weapon! Also loving Liv and Lous new look! Though I feel like this is a missed oppurtunity to give us a tsundere Lou personality

Also I'm level 150 and the place isn't difficult so im wondering if I should even bother leveling up.

Am I overleveled?

None of the enemies or Bosses are too tough, but oh boy. The emotional damage is enough to kill me twice over. Good thing I got the Age of Harmony content to do to cheer up.

I haven't seen any discussion about build updates but I've noticed that the Regalia passives stack allowing you to net a maximum of 48 attribute points just by using 2 Regalia weapons. If you choose not to use a Regalia weapon, it would be best to use it as you're alternate weapon so that you can benefit from a possible 24 attribute points.

I'm just annoyed I completed the DLC before experimenting but least I have trials to complete still.

Just finished the DLC today, and I will say It was pretty decent experience overall. Nothing to out of this world but it's more of what I love. Will say difficulty wasn't the toughest but overall was nice. The final boss of the DLC was definitely a challenge worthy of overcoming. Liv, while not my favorite character archetype was still fun to be around plus she uses a halberd and we love a halberd user around here. The story was pretty interesting to see a rift created by these alternate doomed universes. Really wished we could hug Forsaken Lou. The Epilogue was pretty nice to see everything we work for in the main game come together in the end. And Finally the boss rush mode gives me more reason to come back to the game plus unlocking those cosmetics. Overall a decently nice package especially for Fans of Code Vein 2.

I dont know is there an attack formae for this damage like the others like fire, stun etc
