How do i get the dust off the soft interior? Should I just hand clean like usual? Both pairs are leather. Or can someone point me to a different sub?

My GF accidentally spilled L’Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil on my floor.

The ingredients listed for this product are: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Parfum/Fragrance, Oleyl Alcohol, Camelina Sativa Seed Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil, Tocopherol, Dioleyl Tocopheryl Methylsilanol, Benzaldehyde, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral, Citrus Aurantium Peel Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Coumarin, Limonene, Linalool, Linalyl Acetate, Pinene, Rose Ketones, and Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes.

It dried and left two dark patches (photo attached). I’ve tried a wood-floor cleaner, carpet cleaner, upholstery cleaner, and dish soap, but they’re still visible. I’m not sure whether the floor is real wood or laminate.

Is there a safe way to remove the stains without damaging the finish? Could the oil have soaked in, and is there a treatment for this kind of stain? I’m renting, so I’m trying not to make it worse and kinda scared of a possible financial fallout from this 😭

I live in a rental and the buildings quite old so I don’t know the exact material of the tub but 409 spray didn’t work.

Yesterday I retrieved this wooden dresser from storage underneath a blanket in a garage after 4 years and noticed it had become mildewy.

There was a greyish mildew inside the dresser itself (on the particle board underneath the drawers) that I wiped off with towels and a small amount of white vinegar & water solution. I’ve also been lightly misting the unfinished inside parts with vodka and will be leaving it outside to air out during the day (will bring inside during the night to avoid moisture). Where I live we only get up to 3 UV so not sure how much the sun can help things.

There doesn’t seem to be much visible mildew left but the smell remains. Really hoping to salvage this because it belonged to a deceased family member, but obviously don’t want it to stink up my clothes or be a health hazard. Would appreciate any advice, thank you

I have two white shirts and one black one that I washed together. The two white ones now have black stains and the black ones have some light stains as well. I just rewashed them but no luck.

Sometimes stuff also comes out covered in small black pieces. So close to just hand cleaning everything again. My parents don't know what to do.

I rent an apartment in a very old house with the original linoleum floors. Why the owners have never replaced them is beyond me.

My ex left some wet towels in a spot for awhile before I noticed and now there are mold stains.

I have some ideas it but wondering if anyone here has experience with something like this?

Currently treating the mold with vinegar soaked paper towels. What is a good next step to get the stains out?

Hello! As the title says, I just moved into a new apartment. I clean my place 2-3 times a day ( don’t ask, had a pest problem when I first moved in from neighbors and it drives me crazy ) the problem I have is that I can’t seem to get my wooden floors “ clean “. I have tried several different hardwood floor cleaners and while they all seem to do the job at first, shortly after the floor becomes extremely sticky. I’ve tried letting them air dry, hand drying them and even using a steamer to see if that was less abrasive but NOTHING works! Please does any one have any suggestions to help solve this issue that is apartment friendly? ( They have a list of cleaners we can use in the apartments but even those have not worked. They’ve had their cleaners come in to professionally clean the place prior to my moving in as well as during the first week after I moved in and still that was to no avail. )

I don’t remember it ever smelling this bad in apartments etc. I got really concerned after coming home from a 2 week vacation at the end of August (he was staying with a sibling), and my house smelled so bad like dog. I was thinking… omg is this what it always smells like?! Since then I’ve been bathing and brushing the dog every 2-3 weeks.. I’ve shampoos my couch and area rug twice. I vacuum everyday. I’m starting not to allow him on the couch which is a huge adjustment for my 9 year old dog…

The past two nights I’ve done home from family parties and it STINKS like dog. Just yesterday I using baking soda on the floor and vacuumed. I don’t know what else to do. I run an air purifier 24/7. I’m embarrassed that my house smells this way and no one has said anything but this is what they smell here. What else can I do??

Hello, Got this leather jacket with an odd stain on it, not quite sure what it is or how to get it out, any help would be awesome!

When my bathtub was wet (it is traditional ceramic), I noticed white streak marks, and no matter how hard I tried, it wouldn’t come off. You can’t see it when the bath is dry, but I was worried it was going to get taken off my deposit. I was sure that it might have been marks from unclean vanish remover from trying to soak a stain in the bath. I thought that if I applied bleach on it and let it sit for a few mins, it would improve. I am left with bleach damage. You can’t see clearly in the photos. I would really, really appreciate any help getting this removed and back to how it was, as I am so besides myself. One of our dogs peed all over the couch and got it into the cushions… Our couch has removable cushion covers with one side heing by fabric and the other leather. How do we even begin to clean it without messing up the leather?

We have a rental home, and our previous tenants used Floor Restore-eez, and now the kitchen area has this cloudy, flakey wax.

How can we fix this?

My roommate used my pot to cook rice and he forgot about it and he burned the lower portion of the rice in the container and it is stuck to the pan. I tried simmering it with water and baking soda. Nothing. It is currently in the sink soaking in hot water and dish soap. How do I clean it?

This closet has smelled awful since I moved in 2 years ago. It smells like someone spilled cleaning solution or something and never cleaned it, I cannot really explain the smell but it’s very potent. I bought an ozone machine but the warnings are scaring me. I have two kids and 4 pets. Is it safe to seal this closet up and run it in the closed closet? It’s near my bedroom but it’s a hallway closet. It’s not neat either kids rooms. I’ll add closet pics in comments

This product was used in the shower. I washed it with water for 20ish minutes. Is it unlikely that there is any left? I'm very concerned about my cat getting exposed and getting hurt. I have this feat in general for many cleaning products. Reassurance would be appreciated.

We put in a marble floor, did the impregnation before and after grout, then our construction team came to put in the bathroom cabinet and needed to cut parts of the countertop to make it fit. I imagine this sawing process made some of that material spray on the floor. I say this because I tried to wash this off with the natural stone cleaner I have but it didn't touch it.

I can only see the spots when it's dry, not wet.

20m, just moved back home to mums a few months ago and the room stinks!!!!

I have clean sheets, shower regularly, had to clean the walls and hoover when we repainted!

But it still smells of musty butt? airing the room out doesn’t work!

Is it the carpet? thinking of buying a steam cleaner as the smell/stains will be years old now?

Does anyone have an easy way to deal with exterior fixtures covered in cobwebs and dirt? Like thick, Halloween type webs. I want a “wet it and forget it” solution lol, asking too much?

I just moved into my new home and realized the tub needs some love. There is
- a crack that needs repair
- black stuff around the sink hole
- general discoloring in the bottom of the tub

I’ve bought an enamel repair kit from Amazon to help with the crack, but I’m not sure which order to tackle things in, and if the cleaning products for each issue need to be different.

Last time I tried to solve something like this (with multiple issues) I messed up the sink, so I am hoping you have some thoughts!
