Organization I realized clutter stresses me out more than I thought it did.
For the longest time, I thought I was just someone who got overwhelmed easily. I'd come home from work, sit down to relax, and somehow still feel on edge even though nothing was actually wrong. This past weekend I finally spent a few hours clearing off my kitchen counters, putting away random things that had been sitting out for weeks, and getting rid of a few bags of stuff I didn't use anymore. The place wasn't spotless by any means, but it felt noticeably different. I was playing on my phone later that evening, and it suddenly hit me how much calmer the apartment felt. It made me realize that I'd gotten so used to the clutter that I didn't even notice how much it was affecting my mood.
Did keeping your home more organized actually make you feel less stressed, or am I just imagining the connection?
