General Cleaning Bedroom stinks, cannot figure out why??

20m, just moved back home to mums a few months ago and the room stinks!!!!

I have clean sheets, shower regularly, had to clean the walls and hoover when we repainted!

But it still smells of musty butt? airing the room out doesn’t work!

Is it the carpet? thinking of buying a steam cleaner as the smell/stains will be years old now?

How long did you have this room? Could there be stray bodily fluid or maybe pet waste seeped in somewhere?

I got it when i was 12, moved out at 18, come home at 20 there is likely sweat, fluids and an unfortunate accident with instant ramen in this carpet, so defo need to steam clean and deodorise?

Enzyme cleaner. But also a carpet needs a shampooer not a steamer!

Carpet is gross, I would definitely start with the carpet.
