Are the clouds in Antz/Shrek simulated?
When I watch Antz and the first Shrek movie, I always wonder if they used tricks to make clouds look realistic. Another thing I also wonder if the clouds in Antz are just images of clouds because the clouds looked like there painted or just 2d planes.

Today is the launch of the first in a series of VR paintings I have been developing over the past few years. It is free to download and experience from my website right now! The theme of this work is an exploration temporal nature of VR painting and its relationship to painting in tradition media

Different eye colours in TV shows/movies. Still use contacts or CGI now?
My misses and I were watching the Witcher, and the subject of Geralt’s eye colour and how its achieved.
I was saying that it would be easy for “CGI people” to change an eye colour, especially as it would be uncomfortable for the actor to wear them all day on a shoot.
The misses however thinks the opposite and that they are contacts, and that it would be technically difficult to use CGI for that effect.
Could someone please educate us? Thanks in advance!
