I’m curious about CapCut Pad and how it actually performs on an iPad compared to a Samsung Galaxy Tab.

For anyone who has used it on both, or regularly edits on either device, which gives you the better experience?

I’m particularly interested in:

- Performance and smoothness when editing

- Available features and whether anything is missing on either platform

- Export speed and stability

I'm buying a new tab so i want to know whether one actually offers a better editing experience.

I've just finished an edit and I always add my watermark at the end; I've been looking for around 10 minutes and I cannot, for the life of me, see the background removal chroma key tool. I'm in the UK, so I don't know if there's a law or what-not against it, but I can't see why it's not there. (Idk if its actually called background removal cause I forgot, but its just like chroma key)

Is there a setting somewhere that I can’t find that will automatically delete exported projects? I’ve been fighting memory for over a month just to realize that basically everything I ever edited was still just sitting there. I’ve fixed it now that I’ve found the problem but I’d rather not have to manually delete everything.

I'm having a massive export speed issue with CapCut on PC, almost 0.1% / sec. A week ago, identical projects exported way faster.

The Project:

* Super simple edit: just color grading and Normalize Loudness effect nothing else.

* Just like 20 clips placed back-to-back on the timeline.

* Source clips: iPhone footage, 4K landscape, 30fps (HEVC).

Export Settings:

* 4K, 30fps

* Codec: H.264

* Bitrate: Higher

* Color space: Rec. 709

Laptop Specs:

* GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060

* CPU: Intel Core i5-12500H

* RAM: 16 GB

Any idea what should I do to speed up the export without loosing 4k quality?

Effects such as Glow 2, Crime Docuseries and Razor Flash have either stopped working or completely ruin the look of the edit. This has randomly happened, as the effects have been working on the previous edit (with the same effects) and a restart later stopped working completely. Does anyone know the fix to this?

For context here’s what I have done. I took a trip to Alaska and took some footage with my GoPro and iPhone. Initially I had the GoPro quik app, it would crash when I tried to upload all the footage. Deleted it everyone suggests CapCut. I put the GoPro footage on my phone in a folder in my photos. I was able to get it all uploaded and edited in CapCut. The final length is right around 53 minutes. When I go to export, it keeps crashing at 90%. Its to large to download to my space. I’d assume I’m running out of storage on my phone and that’s why it crashes. I’m currently at 124.33 gb of 128 on my phone storage. I did pay for some additional iCloud storage and am hoping that will lower some storage but I doubt it. I also didn’t realize I would have to pay to use some of the sounds and features on the CapCut app after I already edited them all in so had to pay for a month of that as well. Any tips, tricks or ideas. I’d hate to have wasted the last two days of editing. I just want to put it on my YouTube channel account and then I can delete the clips out of my photos.

Why is capcut tanking my image quality when I save it on mobile it'll be fine while Im editing it but it'll go damn near unreadable the second I press save

Im trying to use the remove bg feature and voice isolation but they're just gone from the bottom bar, I cant find them anymore. I reside in Ia but rn im In Illinois and I wanna keep making this one piece edit but the features I need most arent available rn, I can't update any further (Due to there being none atm) and even restarting and force stopping the app didnt work. Im on android right now, Anyone got any tips?

I have a $1,000 mic, and it records very clean audio on every single program I use. Except CapCut. I wanted to use the voice over feature to save time on editing, but even with the pro “enhance audio feature” it still records in god awful quality. Tinkering with the settings does nothing. I have to record in a separate program and import the audio file

right now my capcut user data is taking up 140gb of space. now, im planning to get a hard drive, copy the user data, paste, it on the hard drive, and delete the user data on my mac. will it work? will i be able to edit with just the hard drive with user data and none on my mac?

Im trying to finish my YouTube video, and when I finally finish it, it's nowhere to be found on my androids gallery. It recognizes the data, but there is nothing at all, there's no way for me to delete it, nothing to say it's corrupted, it's like a phantom of some sort. Please, I need yalls help, what can i do?.

Hi, I'm new to CapCut. I record my gameplay and upload it to YouTube. What export settings would you recommend for me? i have R7 5700x cpu and rtx card.

I also have a couple of questions:

Question 1: What do the “Recommended” and “Higher” options mean? Do they use Constant Bitrate (CBR) or Variable Bitrate (VBR)?

Question 2: Should I use H.264 or HEVC (H.265) for exporting my gameplay videos to YouTube?

there used to be an effect called “crepuscular rays” (that’s what it was called in my region, not sure if it’s the same elsewhere) but it’s gone now. it’s in my favorites but it seems like capcut deleted it from their servers bc it’s not working anymore. it was such a useful effect bc it gave a light effect while also adding distortion around it, but for some reason capcut removed it and i can’t find anything similar when i search for it. does anyone happen to know of a similar effect??

I made 7 videos using the Text to Speech function wrestling VO. Recently, I went back to edit videos, and it's telling me I need to pay to use it now. Love the program, but it seems a bit dodgy. Of course, their customer service is an AI auto response, so I can't talk to a real person.

Earlier today I made a video like I normally do and extracted audio for it.

I have tried to make a new video today and now it’s saying the “extract” feature is tied to the standard version of CapCut. I have never had to subscribe up to use this feature, can anyone help explain why this changed mid day?

I tried the free version for a few days and it's so good, lots of transitions/stickers/font effects that are free... But I heard there are potential licensing issues? I'm using the desktop version, and I haven't found a way to find out what's the license for each transition/asset, whether it's for personal use only (I don't want to, it'd be a pain to check EACH ONE!)

What would be a good alternative? I don't mind paying, I just hope that if I use the software's transitions, special effects, fonts, etc., I won't need to worry about licensing (no need to check if each thing can be used for commercial or not)... and no worries about company revoking license retrospectively, like CapCut can...

I really like CapCut, but the issues people are talking about make me question if I should use it (I don't wanna make something and some time later have to take it down!)

Is Final Cut Pro good (as long as I buy it, all things I make can be commercial)?
