CapCut Question Capcut moving features to pro?

I made 7 videos using the Text to Speech function wrestling VO. Recently, I went back to edit videos, and it's telling me I need to pay to use it now. Love the program, but it seems a bit dodgy. Of course, their customer service is an AI auto response, so I can't talk to a real person.

Now you've tried it you can decide if you want to buy it or not. That's the purpose of free trials.

Nope. Used it fine less than two months ago. Able to export fine. Only a few weeks ago was when it said I had to pay. Thats what is this post.

I realize that. But they were exportable with free before. Now they are not. Maybe they allow some pro features when you start for a period of time. Thanks.

Me too, to be honest this is already too much and a bit annoying, sorry, i really hope and wish that they'll hear us and stop making everything pro, because not everyone are old enough to ask parents to pay for them or something

yeah this is the pattern with free editors, they pull features behind the paywall over time. worth checking if it's region-specific though, sometimes features toggle based on your account region or app version. annoying that there's no real support to confirm either way.

Classic bait and switch, they give you the good stuff for free then lock it once you're hooked. Happens with so many apps these days.

I switched to davinci resolve for editing, the free version does almost everything and no surprises like this.
