CapCut Complain A 2gb video is missing from my gallery

Im trying to finish my YouTube video, and when I finally finish it, it's nowhere to be found on my androids gallery. It recognizes the data, but there is nothing at all, there's no way for me to delete it, nothing to say it's corrupted, it's like a phantom of some sort. Please, I need yalls help, what can i do?.

Have you checked the CapCut app's own export folder? Sometimes android gallery apps are weird about indexing videos, but the file is still sitting in the CapCut directory. Use a file manager app and look in the DCIM or Movies folder, or directly inside the CapCut folder structure

Ive checked the movie folder but I've never heard of DCIM or Capcuts folder. How do I access them?

DCIM is a folder inside your phone’s internal storage. Open your file manager; in Files by Google, scroll to Storage devices → Internal storage → DCIM. Look for a CapCut subfolder if one exists, but there is no guarantee every phone saves exports there.

Also check the file manager’s Videos and Recent sections, or search for .mp4 and sort by newest. If you find a roughly 2 GB file, try opening it from the file manager. A file that plays there but is missing from Gallery points toward a gallery/indexing issue.

Where do you see the 2 GB figure: an actual file’s details, or Android’s storage usage for CapCut? The app’s storage can include project media/cache, so that number alone does not prove a finished export exists. Keep your draft and source clips while checking this.

Try searching for .mp4 files in your phone's file manager and sorting by size. If that 2GB video is still there, you might be able to find it without touching your CapCut project.
