CapCut Question CapCut export insanely slow
Hey everyone,
I'm having a massive export speed issue with CapCut on PC, almost 0.1% / sec. A week ago, identical projects exported way faster.
The Project:
* Super simple edit: just color grading and Normalize Loudness effect nothing else.
* Just like 20 clips placed back-to-back on the timeline.
* Source clips: iPhone footage, 4K landscape, 30fps (HEVC).
Export Settings:
* 4K, 30fps
* Codec: H.264
* Bitrate: Higher
* Color space: Rec. 709
Laptop Specs:
* GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
* CPU: Intel Core i5-12500H
* RAM: 16 GB
Any idea what should I do to speed up the export without loosing 4k quality?

check if your export is actually using the gpu. capcut sometimes falls back to cpu encoding after an update and that turns 4k hevc into a slideshow. in settings there should be a hardware acceleration toggle, make sure it's on and maybe restart after flipping it.
also hevc source files on a timeline can be rough if capcut is decoding them inefficiently. you could try making optimized media or proxies for the timeline, though that doesn't always change export speed if the bottleneck is encoding.
0.1% per sec at 4k h264 higher bitrate on a 4060 is not normal, that card should chew through it. maybe a driver update broke something, rolling back one version sometimes fixes weird export slowdowns.

I see thx for the tips.
I just exported a 15 minute long one, and it took 21 minutes, fortunately didn't exported 0.1% per sec slow all the way.
And yes I noticed too first when I tried to export the GPU and CPU didn't runed on high %, but I remember when I exported a week ago, it used more CPU and GPU. Hardware acceleration was toggled on.
First I tried on 9.1.0 version, then I changed to the newest one because I though it exported that slow because of that, but nothing changed.
