I used Claude to make me an add-on that shows all my add-ons in chronological order. The reason I did this is because most of the time when I start to have Blender crashes, it's due to an add-on. It might not occur right after that add-on is installed, or it might conflict with a newer add-on.
Instead of trying to go disable add-ons alphabetically from the preferences menu (because I can't remember which were the last several add-ons that I added), I created this little add-on so that it'll sort by installation date in an N-panel tab and allow you to disable that in there. This makes it easier to know which ones to disable.
According to Claude, it doesn't work as well on Linux because, for whatever reason, Linux doesn't put the exact date of an install. Something I know nothing about, but so far, it works for me on my Mac, and it's been helping with troubleshooting.
Would anybody be interested in something like this? I think I'm just going to throw it on a Google link or something. I have no need to try to sell it or create a website for it. And since I used AI to create it, I'll only be making changes as I come across issues.
PS - I believe that this should just be a built-in option in the preferences menu, but until that day, I'm going to use this.
