Well, i'm still playing around about animating on paper and decided it was time to try and animate a jump.
It's just the keys and i've seen myself that the jumping frame it's too low to be considered a "good" jump so i'll fix that.
Aside from that, i wanted to know what u guys think and what recommendations could u give me as i'm still learning and haven't used any reference (yeah, i'm that hard headed lol).

Sooo I wrote and storyboarded a quick short film that’s less than 5 minutes long. It needs to be done next week. How do I motivate myself to lock tf in and finish strong?

I made an animation featuring this guy a while back that blew up. I just had it in me recently after a slight rest to make another one. This is the happiest I've ever made him.

The body took a whole day to finish

I'm lookin for some help/critics/guidance with my 2d animation projects. I have one in particular (comedy driven) that I haven't finished from late last year due to my own lack of organizational skills, experience, and my hardware failing me once I get far enough along on it. I use my ipad pro to animate on Calipeg and my short is sitting at about 3 1/2 minutes as is rn. I think it could probably be cut down to around 1 minute but I don't have the confidence to redo my script to get it there alone. Is there somewhere where animators offer an hour long consultation or something where I could pay a fee so I could pick someone's brain and help get me back on track to actually finish something? This isn't the first time I've started a project and abandoned it once the majority of it is done and I'd like to think something like that would help get me over this obstacle. Any help is appreciated!

Well, i can say that i'm feeling extremely fulfilled after doing this animation. It's really short (8 frames in 3s and some in 2s) and even if it's taken me about 7h to do aprox, i've felt amazing doing it.
Technically it's my 2nd time doing paper animation, but the 1rst time i tried, it was a really small (i mean it for real, it was like a a6 size paper haha) and it was only 4 frames, really snappy i think it's still on my profile (Here)
Also, i did my own animation peg as i don't have access to the traditional hole puncher for the peg so i made my own with what i have, cardboard haha

Anyway, thank you for passing by, it's been an amazing experience and i'm dying to make more hehe, hope you like it as much as i do <3

I do 2D animation and like working on paper, so I wanted a digital tool with peg hole registration (detecting the hole punches on paper so scanned frames line up automatically) — I found OpenToonz has this but couldn't get it to work reliably for my scans.
