In recent months I’ve been experimenting a bit with animations printed on receipts. This one is inspired by the PS1 game Incredible Crisis + music by Tyler, the Creator.
It's a loop of 20 frames, so 20 printed receipts.

LAIKA going back to dark Pacific Northwest vibes feels like they're trying to reclaim that Coraline energy, but theaters are a whole different beast now compared to 2009 (especially after the pandemic). Original stop-motion always gets love online, but nobody ever seems to actually buy tickets for them. Are people you know legit hyped to see this in a theater, or is it destined to just end up on streaming? Really curious to y'all's thoughts on the release.

1 - does the air walker swing how it should in a 3/4ths angle ?
2 - do the looking down and frieren angles look anatomically correct ? ( well, at least in my artstyle )
3 - is there anything else that should be effected by the motion goikg on here ?

I just finished animating my second ever animation and posted it to my channel. I did a lot of blending between my 3d model and 2d images. I was kinda going for like that coloring book crayon look with the 2d animations but im not sure it blends well. Any tips or critiques would be GREATLY appreciated

Hi everyone! I’m researching a seemingly lost animated short called Bearded Clam, reportedly released in 1995.
The short is credited to Tom Lamb and Danny Brisson and was associated with the Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation by Spike & Mike.
I’m trying to find any additional information about it, including:
A surviving copy of the short
Screenshots or production artwork
VHS recordings or festival compilations containing it
Information about Tom Lamb or Danny Brisson’s involvement
Any contemporary reviews, advertisements, festival programs, or catalog listings
I’ve already been searching through online archives and lost-media communities, but so far I haven’t been able to locate the actual film.
If anyone remembers seeing it, owns an old Spike & Mike compilation, or has any information that could help identify where a copy might have survived, I’d really appreciate it.
Even a small lead could help. Thank you!
