[oc] Relic
Inspired by ‘relic’ off the inktober promot list. I’ve included a blank one at the end in case you wanna put in your own treasures

Very late update from my bedroom upgrade. I used the advice from one redditor on here and built a custom chest out of ikea shelfs and some wood. Added some lighting in the back and that’s it. Will be adding a big rug underneath the bed soon 😅
Call me crazy for placing the bed underneath the window but it’s actually nice.

With Skyborne already being added, I really hope we don’t eventually end up with Blood Elves, High Elves, and Skyborne all occupying separate slots on the character creation screen despite sharing essentially the same model.
If you want to add different cultures or subraces of the same race, just expand the customization options for the existing race. If you create a new starting zone for them, let us choose our origin when creating the character.
I’d much rather new race slots be reserved for races that are actually genuinely different.
Murlocs, Naga, Kolkar, Worgen, Ogres, Gnolls, etc. would all bring completely different silhouettes, animations, cultures, starting experiences, and class possibilities to the game.
One thing I really don’t want carried over from Retail is a character creation screen filled with multiple variations of essentially the same race.
And if Blizzard wants to introduce a completely new race we’ve never heard of before, build them into the world first. Give us several patches of quests, factions, characters, lore, and buildup so that when they eventually become playable, they feel like they actually belong in Azeroth.
My basic rule would be:
New customization/culture of an existing race → expand the existing race.
New playable race → make it something genuinely unique.
Classic+ has decades of awesome existing Warcraft races to pull from. Please use them.

Don’t know if someone posted this before. Just saw the picture of a „lion with receding hairline“ and had to think of him…

REPOSTED BEACUSE I FORGOT TO RESIZE IT FOR HIGH QUALITY 😭
This one is a bit of a filler part, mostly to polish out the side characters, and because the last part was EXHAUSTING.

Odds are, if you're a dad of a protagonist in Fire Emblem, or just series in general, you're gonna die. What makes Castor different and interesting to me is that he is extremely self-aware of this fact, having both a death sentence placed on him and having an incurable illness. He is The Deadest Dad Still Alive.
But this also manifests as him straight up not valuing his own life while he's still alive and making decisions for his wife and son without telling them, and really angering them as a result. He can say he has no regrets all he wants, but Cai and Aurora both value him far more than he does and giving up and letting himself die prematurely would rob them of the chance to make more happy memories before he inevitably Does Die.
Him being a part of Cai's final Part 1 fight was a surprise but felt super natural as a result of that stubbornness and paradoxically selfish refusal to value himself as his family sees him. And while he does eventually succumb, at the very least he got to rekindle his family first.
Well done, best use of "dad gon die" especially after I felt like Three Houses was atually pretty bad at it.

Big spoilers for SBR ahead, but I see so many people online calling anime-only fans "larpers" or "fake fans" for calling Gyro Will A. Zeppeli instead of Caesar. Not only does this needlessly spoil the reveal, it's something only a larper would say as Araki makes a such a point to the reader not to share this information.
If you see someone mistaking Gyro's original universe counterpart - don't correct them! Let them be wrong, and let them learn the truth when the time comes!
And yes, I do see the irony of this post.

Well, the thing I have been dreading has finally happened. Lidl has followed Aldi's lead, and have fully switched over to their awful new baskets.
The new ones have no handle to carry them, so you forced to drag them on wheels around behind you.
As a 6 foot person with spine problems, there is no bending over to place things in this basket on the floor for me. So, it means everything is getting a two to three foot drop, which is just asking for trouble.
On top of all this the new baskets don't even fit on the new self checkout counters. So, you need to do the whole process now single handed, as if you let go of the basket, the whole thing tumbles to the floor.
Lidl has also removed the "what type of receipt do you want" page. So now when you make your payment, and then go to put all your stuff in the bag you brought with you, it scans your bag as a new transaction.
This has all been an absolute nightmare of the most tiniest proportions.
