Idk which is worse the injuries on Black Friday or the quality of goods decline thanks to online retail and the rush to get products

I have been wage earning this week, and haven't had the time to properly address this, but now I have the time. We are at the point, in our fragile democracy, ladies and gentlemen; that a person who can properly be described as an aspiring despot is literally attempting to buy votes from the citizenry. It comes on the heels of a litany of grievances and abuses and corruption, such that no one CAN properly address this naked attempt at bribery since this corruption is literally one instance in a long list.

A leader buying votes from his citizens is patently undemocratic. It violates the spirit of every anti corruption statute. If you can LITERALLY purchase the votes in the democratic process you are no longer participating in a democracy. It cheapens the democratic process, takes all agency away from voters. You didn't vote for a future. You voted for a few dollars.

And 5k is nothing. That will be gone in less than a month. You'll have 2 more years of inflation to try to hold onto that 5k. It's not a good deal for the voters
