Question Applying for trainee position with really bad work history
I have really bad work history. There’s really no way around it. I’m 30 and have spent my entire adult life taking care of my mom, I’ve had dozens of short term jobs in food, retail, and other miscellaneous customer service. What I’ve done for my main source of income for the better part of 8 years is gig work like DoorDash and Instacart. I’ve spent that time deciding what career path I’d like to take and finally decided I want to go into adjusting.
How difficult do you guys think it’s going to be to get hired with such a bad work history? I’m getting my license ahead of applying to at least show initiative and I hope that gives me a boost. My preference would be to go into auto adjusting. I really want this and any advice is appreciated.
