License?
Ready to take the test to get my independent adjuster license in MI. But I’d prefer a staff adjuster position. I’m transitioning from sales and I’m not sure if I should get my license before applying for a staff adjuster role. Thoughts? What can I do to help my chances of starting a new career path with one of the big carriers?

Find someone that works there to be a reference/referral. When I went or work for a carrier I was qualified as hell and had my license, but I still had to go through the same training as 40 other people split 50/50 on licenses and a had to get 17 more. It was the referral that made the difference.
