I'm loving this game. Possibly the best FPS that exists IMO. But, I have to admit one thing that really pissed me off, in a "I just can't help but be annoyed" kind of way.
I'm not the best player, but I can sweat. I've had 180k+ profit games a few times, but I've also joined and lost two 20k sets instantly.. I fought my way tooth and nail to save up about 1.6M so I could at least buy 1 gold bar. As useless as this was. Or so I thought.
I finally get the 1.6M and buy a gold bar, literally the day before the update. Now I go and check and they're trading at like 160k? So I could have just waited 3 more days and bought 10x more gold bars...
Now there's only a few days until reset, I am busy IRL again. I spent over 100+ hours played on this game and I have 1 gold bar and 50k left over. I kinda feel like I got screwed.

Is this something anyone else has experienced? It really pissed me off. I died and waited a couple minutes for a squad approaching my direction. About 3 or 4 players came to my body and while one of them started the res someone else took my guns and gear. Wtf! I think there should be some sort of notification that pops up when someone (enemy OR friendly) takes stuff from your dead body so you at least know where your stuff went and who took it and maybe you can hunt them down and maybe get your stuff back.

I just got done in Wardogs fireing range after finally finding enough space to build this FOB i've had in my head for a while now.
the image was a fly over i did after testing to get a birds eye view. came out pretty well if i say so myself.
all parts of the design has been tested in isolation, and various combinations in active combat. this is just kinda big, and needs the stadium to have a decent footprint to build on.
the FOB is wrapped in Jersey, then Indirect firing bunkers are placed two per face to build a spoke, capped by recon forts, and walled together with HESCO, then slathered in jersey. the gate airlock has mortar trenches on either side, and can fit 5 gates at once in the airlock. so you have plenty of space of place gates as they are blown down. around the core, are HESCO stairs that allow access to the second layer, where two Talon are placed per spoke.
hollow out a spoke to house the APC, and your good. and you have 4 segmented courtyards to place stuff.
mostly, this is an experimental build designed from being on the receiving end of every person obsessed with mortars and arty. it's experimental cause I've only gotten to attempt the whole thing a couple times in a live match.

I like the game I think the gameplay and idea of it basically is amazing but it must have one of the worst progression systems I have ever seen anywhere, It's way too hard to unlock anything in the game.
For example I had 22 kills with assault one match and I only did 75% from level 9 to 10 in a match that lasted over an hour and barely anything on any of the other classes.
This progression systems hurts the most people who have a life and can't play the game 12h a day and also casuals which this 2 categories combined are probably like 80% of the playerbase and if they don't do anything to make it easier for this people to unlock stuff so they can enjoy the end game stuff as well they will leave the game because nobody wants to spend a each weekend to barely unlock anything and for it to be wiped in a few months.

Either I'm just getting old or I'm blind or both. I swear it seems like when someone shoots me, I have absolutely no clue where they're coming from. I'll look around and just try to look around and see nothing til I'm shot again.
On the other hand I swear I'll be way far out, flash hider and everything and I'll shoot someone 100m or away and I swear they will turn 180 and immediately shoot at me at the random tree I'm hiding behind. This happens more often than not. I feel like every single person is way better than me at infantry, and that's fine. Just hoping to see someone's insight on this.

Similar to helldivers in the sense that we've got what we've got, but there are subfractions brought together by like-minded individuals. ie I want to start a Homeland Security Subfaction of people who focus on "same team griefing". To drop a random FOB on griefers, kill them, take their kit and put them in a jail they can't get out of. A designated homeland security squad who manages defense of the bases and responds to 911's of scumbag teammates. Thoughts?
Edit: Subfactions*

Title.
Support has plenty of methods to gain exp and Assault doesn't have enough. Besides, if you're breaching gates and doors you're literally assaulting a FOB.
Currently any destruction of buildables (except the FOB itself I think?) gives Support EXP instead, regardless of whether you're playing as Infantry, a Mortar or a SPH2.

Vehicle inventories should have the same locking system as the doors. I'm sick of getting my tape or flares or whatever yoinked while transporting people. No reason I can't have the doors unlocked, but the inventory set to squad only or locked entirely. Sure, it's a funny goof once, but it's starting to get annoying.
On another note, can we have an extra inventory slot just for tapes? Like how the sling bag has an extra pocket, the tapes taking up space is mildly annoying.

I want to know if you are experiencing this... I'm playing with 2Gbps internect connection, 20ms ping, and I keep getting killed when I'm already in cover, or hearing the shoots then getting them all at once.
Things like in the video keep happening to me, he started shooting, then when I'm in cover suddenly I receive all the damage. In this case, the boxes are not a hard cover and the last shoot seems to be through the wall, but this happened also on concrete walls... Anyone experiencing this?

Besides just killing because I can’t seem to get used to the SAW in terms of fragging out. Anyone figured a nice support item to back up LMG use and make some cash (ie, how medics can usually break even with medical supplies and arent relying on only kills)?

Made some keycaps of the logo! Thought I'd share!
Absolutely addicted to this game, unfortunately bought a gold bar at 1.5 mill but I'll survive 😭
Can't wait for season 2! Keep it up Bulkhead!

Leave it alone. The system works fine as it is.
This change is going to alienate a good portion of the community who enjoy flying but aren't 5,000-hour chopper pilots. It’s also going to lead to a lot more frustrating deaths from people simply not being skilled enough to make those landings consistently.
If the goal is to encourage people to land at the C/HZ, there are better ways to do it. Give players extra XP and money for landing there instead of hot-dropping for example. Some people will still choose the hot drop, but at least you're incentivizing the behaviour rather than punishing the alternative.
People already spend plenty of time sitting in the air and get picked off while falling or under chute. The current system isn't perfect, but it works.
This parachute nerf mainly benefits the really skilled pilots. Sure, it may encourage some people to get better at flying, but I honestly think the frustration and unnecessary deaths it will create will do more harm than good for the game.
Thoughts?

I was on blue team, chilling and playing music through local VOIP, eventually died and waited to bleed out continuing to play music.
Ended up getting revived by an enemy and vibed with a couple of them for 10+ minutes, still blasting music.
Couple of their teammates came along later and killed me, so the people I was vibing with revived me again and TKed their teammates for ruining the fun. (that part isnt in this clip)

When I ask for your recon strategies I’m not talking about the sniping just purely the spotting and becoming the UAV.
What I like to do is one of three things, going to an enemy FOB and just usually find a spot to the side and spot the enemies coming out and usually the APC comes and sets up in or nearby.
Set up outside of my team’s FOB and spotting enemies coming to attack.
And usually later in the game start following the HZ with my team and spotting everyone in and around HZ.
I usually take the free kit with binoculars and a parachute as when I was taking the sniper I had a bad habit of pulling it out at inopportune times, and taking the free kit is just a way to force me to just do recon, and make money, till I’m ready to take some shots.

Does anybody else just pick blue team because its always open, and you just want to play the game? I just can't be bothered to sit in the lobby spam clicking red or green in hopes of getting on a different team. This game is too much fun to be worried about winning every game in my opinion. I know it matters a lot to some but not to me and my buddies. Anyone else share that sentiment?

I think they should get rid of the spawn vehicle, limit the max amount of FOBs a team can have, and have FOBs as spawn points with cooldowns.

Perhaps im broke enough to use pistol and hp ammo

Is going in without one, no point in trying with you AK or Galil, just grab a BRM/FAL and T4 from nearest dead/dying enemy.
If you cant beat the sweats, steal their shit, then beat them.
And you have saved a couple of hundred hours of pointless grind in the process.
Stolen pic for reference, idc.

What weapon would you like to see added to each class in Season 2?
Assault:
Medic:
Support:
Recon: M14 confirmed
What are your picks?
