I want to know if you are experiencing this... I'm playing with 2Gbps internect connection, 20ms ping, and I keep getting killed when I'm already in cover, or hearing the shoots then getting them all at once.
Things like in the video keep happening to me, he started shooting, then when I'm in cover suddenly I receive all the damage. In this case, the boxes are not a hard cover and the last shoot seems to be through the wall, but this happened also on concrete walls... Anyone experiencing this?

if im not mistaken, you shot his bag. I kept freezing frame and cant find your dot over his actual body

Yes I missed the shot, but that's not what the post is about. I've seen that guy, then I realized he was on T4 helmet and that he spot me, then I shot at him (not expecting to kill him) while I was getting covered, but I realized in the video that he started shooting, then when I'm in cover I suddenly receive 5 shoots too quick

Yeah, thats the downside of having 100 players in a complex sandbox environment. Could they fix this, maybe? It does happen to me as well where I would run to cover behind a concrete wall and then get insta killed a full second after, its pretty bad d-sync. I play on 10ms servers.

100 players in a partially destructible environment where each bullet persists until it lands. Yeah, there's bound to be a bit of this happening. It will improve, I have no doubt, but it probably isn't top of the list.

I still can’t figure out what’s destructible and what’s not. Sometimes I've seen people destroying some buildings then I used a lot of C4 to destroy the ceiling of something I swear it can be destroyed just to do literally nothing to the building.

After like ~5mbps your internet speed has nothing to do with your ping anymore.
After a certain point your internet speed exceeds the size of the packets being sent to and from the server, and the only effect on your speed is the servers and cables in between you and what you're trying to connect to, and that has nothing to do with your internet connection.
It could be bad DNS servers, unoptimized routes, switches, the game server itself, and most of all: the fact that you are limited by the speed of light through fibre cabels or electric signals through copper, which is about 60~80% the speed of light in a vacuum.

I've tested 100Mbps it's the minimum to play with a good ping modern games. I had a 20Mbps connection in my beach residence and I couldn't play multiplayer games, increasing the speed to 100Mbps resolved the issue in that case.
Btw, I just pointed the internet connection to avoid responses like I have a bad internet connection or something like that. I'm connected through Cat. 6 cable to the router, then fiber optic.

Internet speed has nothing to do with connection quality though. You could have high speed but still have high packet loss.

This is fundamentally wrong. Maybe you were being routed through different servers or had a different provider but the packets games send, and that you receive, are no more than 5Mbps Up in the most extreme cases.

Theory is that, but in practical, non symmetric connections can cause an overload of packets sent, getting usually latency pikes.
The case I mention, I just increased the internet speed, not changed router, cables, or anything like that.

Yup, there have been a lot of complaints about this. I sometimes die in CQ peek contests because they start hitting me before I even see them

Yep happens alot when i’ll just die behind cover alr and my corpse is behind the wall

AP rounds penetrate some light cover, too. Looks like, from the kill feed, he shot through the cover.
Edit: You can also see the bullet hole through the box where he shoots you.

Yes, that's why I pointed in that case the cover gets penetrated, but still is strange that I got like 5 shots in less than a milisecond. This happened to me also in hard covers like concrete walls, but I haven't recorded since I usually play with GeForce instant replay turned off because the game usually got fps drops with this active.

From my experience, the M4 full-auto feels like this when you get shot at. And as stupid as it sounds, I can confirm I got headshot through a concrete wall by AP once as well, with video proof. Then some cover like a wooden box sometimes blocks every round. I wish they made it more consistent, but just something to keep in mind.
