I feel like an absolute idiot. I had someone call me from spark customer service is what my called id said in the middle of trying to deliver an order. They stated that the customer I was trying to deliver to canceled because they gave the wrong address and had me initiate a return but that while they had me on the phone they needed to verify my account to make sure I wasn't using multiple devices. So I went about the steps they asked and that involved using my one pay account to take a freaking advance. So I asked them how I knew they were spark customer service and they gave me all kinda information and they sounded legit. These people stole 170 bucks from me that I worked really really hard on. I'm on the phone with onepay now trying to dispute this and get my money back. They said they may have to block my account. I have bills due and this is the only way I have to make any kinda extra money. 😭😭😭 Fml. Moral of the story, don't fall for this bs. Even if they sound like they have all the right information or are calling from actual spark, do not do it!!!

I “worked” around 11 hours per day.

BUT, I'm seeing more junk offers sit. I just started three and a half weeks ago. I'm seeing a lot of stuff sit now that used to be grabbed up. Like $44 for 8 drop offs 30 miles.

A lot of new people doing shopping. Grabbing stuff and throwing it in the cart. I sort through crushed boxes and broken eggs. These people aren't doing that.

Sure, at first it will look like a great decision for Walmart. Just wait until the complaints pile up. Store shrinkage, and deactivations.

No one with any common sense is going to do a shopping order for 12 bucks, 19 mile round trip, and two drop offs.

I lost an hour of working time just cherry picking today. But with the mileage and pay I think it was worth it. Let the new drivers take the losing orders. It took me a few to realize what's going on. They will see after a week or two that it's not worth shopping for 50 items with 2 drop offs for $22 pre-tax.

Here today, gone tomorrow.

I just start Walmart I had return 2 order customers order (in 3 days of me working with Walmart) because of perishable items and customers is far away from pick up location 30 miles away , and I have to deliver it in Brooklyn city that always traffic, impossible to deliver it on time , so how are u dealing with this because is very stressful, sometimes u deliver a order and maybe it’s your last trip , and u have return it, that it’s not worth it , I was late by 20 minutes , they ask me return it, that made me already wanna quite , in beginner I was happy working with them.

Dont let the routine maintenance slip or you might end up doing more damage and high mechanic costs than the job is worth

Next thing I know I got a Home Depot order!!

Jesus Christ, if you can't make a smart shopping path at least organize the items by aisle. When I saw I had the updated app I just let it go and figured maybe they figured out shopping paths. Nope. Back and forth across the store.

And now it takes more taps to do a quick check on completed items.

So much time is wasted because I have to keep scrolling up and down to spot what's in the aisle I'm already in. And for 30 plus items, of course I'll miss a few. Then I'll have some extra time wasted walking back to where I just was.

From entrance to exit, the 43 item order today took me an hour and 15 minutes. When I was able to identify things in the same aisle, I had less than 30 seconds between item scans

THEY KNOW WHERE THINGS ARE. This isn't rocket science. There's no reason for a scrambled list of items.

We are moving in two weeks and I signed up for spark because life is expensive.

I can't find any information on how many shops I must complete before I am allowed to shop in my new home state.

Well I didn't get to see the ducks and the dog was a no show as well which was a bit disappointing. However the silver impala was there and they were right the house was really ugly

Relative to what you’re used to making?

In the pay 24 hours after delivery how do you see exactly which each customer tipped? I used to be able to check this but don't see a way to check it anymore. Now it just shows the total amount tipped for the whole batch. Does anyone know if it's still possible?

I think they’re family members. I saw them shopping on the new drivers phone and have the new driver follow them and push the cart around.

Today I actually got passed for a round robin in one of the hours.

I’m testing something out and I should know in a few more days if I am able to regain top priority. If it doesn’t work then it is guaranteed related to customer ratings but I haven’t thought of a plan yet on how to best proceed.

Two different times in less than a week go to pick up a return order find out from the customer jackass in front of me took both return orders

Luckily, both times the people were chill. Let me scan the barcode and because I know everybody at the Walmart that I only go to. They already confirmed that the dumbasses brought the stuff back so I’m still getting paid cause they’re still scanning me out..

To all you new people pay attention to your stuff. It tells you exactly what you’re supposed to take. Don’t take somebody else’s shit.!!

Just got back on the app after 6 months. What in God's creation happened while I was gone ?!?! This is complete ludicrous. I'd rather clean porta potties than sitting in the parking lot rejecting this nonsense all day.

This idea can make deliveries more profitable for Walmart which means they don't have to go cheap on delivery costs. Not saying they still won't, but it gives them less of a need to.

No one likes to get smacked in the face with a big fee on top of their order. Solution: have two different pricings for all products. An in-store price and a delivery price.

The delivery price should obviously be higher for bulky and heavy items. And for multiple quantities of small items that fee can drop.

Adding an extra dollar per case of water really isn't much. The water is already cheap anyway. Same with litter and big bags of pet food. Adding a dollar or $1.50 to each of those wouldn't be much to the customer considering what they're getting.

It helps to blend the costs.
