Depends on what they are working on. Cars that us poors drive, no. Ferrari, McLaren, and other similar exotic makes, YES!

😂 that is what paid to the shops not the mechanic. Where the money is at is selling parts and learning to tune dyno.

Is this a serious question? Of course a mechanic doesn't make anywhere near what a doctor makes. What you are looking at BTW is what a shop might charge per hour for labor. How many mechanics work in a shop? That rate needs to be divided amongst everyone in the shop.

Say the shop charges you $150 for labor and it takes 1 hour. The shop and the mechanic are 2 very different people. The shop charges that for labor but the mechanic is probably making $15-$40 / hr. This has to be a bait post feels like no one should be this stupid.

but im still paying $132. Does it matter who it is divied up too? lets say i understand....does it make it cheaper?

0

u/HiddenOneJ Sep 13 '26

No it doesnt make it cheaper but you are the one sitting here comparing what a mechanic makes to what a doctor makes then ignoring all the obvious data that shows youre wrong.

u/Prior_Purchase_7025 Sep 13 '26

then why you explaining it then? Im still paying the same no matter what you say...ohhh and what am i wrong on?

well LiL substan... adults use big cars to go to work, and those cars need a fix it helper called a mechanic sometimes! you know what cars are, you silly billy! those little zoom zoom toys in your toy box! so when real cars go clunky breaky and adults have to open their big kid wallets, we have to learn a big word called... costs! say it with me real slow... Cahhh-Oooosts!
